Sadly today was not the positive experience I hoped for at my first big bike race meeting.
Autism and Anxiety don't make things easy with new challenges, and today they got the better of me.
Thank you to my amazing friends that gave up their day to come and support and help me, I'm disappointed I only managed practice for you.
I definitely still want to give this a go as riding bikes is my escape, it might just take a little longer than I hoped to get used to this new big bike environment 🫪

Sorry I've been a bit quiet peeps.
We have been busy prepping for my debut on my Ninja 300 at East Midland Racing Association (EMRA) on Easter Sunday.
My leathers needed about 20cm adding in the upper leg thank you to Hideout Leather, think I need some arm extensions too!.
I've had to change my number to 63 to race at Mallory, so RatMally Graphics have kindly made me up some number boards just until my new full graphics are done, so it's a coverup for now!.
Today mum and I have been on track in the rain (that was supposed to be dry) at Red Lodge Karting Ltd Mini Motos at RLK for a bit of fun on the pitbikes for me to run in the adjustments to my suit, and to blow off the cobwebs ready for my big day.
Can't believe I've not been on a bike since 14th Feb when I passed my ACU Track Racing Department license, and now I'm racing the beast this weekend and it will only be the 2nd time I've ever ridden it!.
Can't wait to get out there, and chuffed that some of my riding buddies and sponsors will be coming along to support me.

British Mini Bike Championship Announces New Ownership and Management as of 13/2/2026.

The British Mini Bike Championship is pleased to announce that the championship is now under new ownership and management by Peter Hickman of PHR Performance (Peter Hickman Racing Limited).

This transition represents a significant and positive step forward for the development of mini bike racing in the United Kingdom. With an outstanding professional racing career and a proven track record in motorsport business operations, Peter Hickman brings extensive experience, leadership, and strategic vision to the championship.

Peter Hickman’s wide network of industry partners and sponsors will play a key role in increasing the profile of the British Mini Bike Championship and expanding opportunities for riders at all levels. A strong emphasis will be placed on the continued development of junior competitors, an area that Peter is particularly passionate about. He firmly believes that safeguarding and growing the youth sector of the sport is essential to ensuring the long-term future of motorcycle racing in the UK.

The British Mini Bike Championship would like to reassure all competitors, families, and stakeholders that the 2026 season will proceed as planned. All scheduled events will take place in accordance with the existing calendar and under the same operational conditions. Event staffing and race management personnel will remain unchanged, ensuring continuity and minimal disruption for participants.

Due to the complexity of company transfer processes, including legal and GDPR
requirements, the most efficient course of action is for BMB Racing Ltd to cease trading. Consequently, all current memberships will be fully refunded.

There will be a brief period of downtime on the Alpha Timing system to allow for the creation of new accounts under the new ownership structure. Following this, all members will be required to reapply and purchase their 2026 memberships. This process has been designed to be straightforward and compliant with all legal and data protection obligations.

The British Mini Bike Championship apologises for any minor inconvenience this transition may cause and thanks all members for their patience and understanding.

This new ownership marks the beginning of an exciting era for the championship, focused on growth, increased exposure, and the continued development of young talent within British motorcycle racing.

Further information and instructions regarding memberships and account setup will be communicated in due course.
