3 days to go. ⏳

Our Advertiser Cup campaign gets underway on Sunday as we face Caldecott Arms in our opening group game.

We last met in September’s league opener, coming away with a 2-1 win. Caldecott have already played their first game in this competition, while we’ll be looking to get back to winning ways after three games without a victory.

FULL TIME | AFC Rugby 1-2 Shirley Lions

Our time in the County Cup came to an end yesterday morning in a game that could have gone either way, but ultimately we didn’t take our chances when they came.

Harry Finch got our goal in the 54th minute, finishing from Jas Beesla’s long throw into the box.

Good luck to Shirley Lions in the next round.

FULL TIME | AFC Rugby 2-2 FC Courthouse

The points were shared yesterday after a competitive game at Ashlawn Road.

We took the lead in the 12th minute as Ben Milne’s long throw found Dan King in the box, who met it on the volley to put us ahead.

Courthouse equalised before half time and went on to take the lead in the second half. We kept pushing for a way back into the game and, despite a few questionable decisions from the referee along the way, found our equaliser in the 87th minute as Jas Beesla fired home from a free kick.

A point on the board.

Next Sunday we turn our attention to the County Cup, travelling to Solihull for our Second Round tie. Details to follow.
