Two superb strikes from Zidan Sutherland and Louis Samuels secured victory for us over Coton Green FC at Butlin Road on Saturday in the United Counties Football League Premier South.

A fairly sterile opening hour saw few clear cut opportunities and several speculative shots from outside the area but perhaps the best chance fell to Sutherland when he could only direct a volley straight at goalkeeper Brandon Bache from Aaron Nuttall's cross on 30 minutes.
But it was a moment of brilliance from Sutherland just after the hour mark which changed the game as the striker took a touch in the area with his knee before firing a volley on the turn low into the far corner of the net beyond Bache.
Valley were able to play with a little more fluidity after this with Sutherland seeing a shot blocked from a central position after good play by Rivel Mardenborough while Nuttall fired an angled shot from the edge of the area just off target.
Substitute Louis Samuels wrapped up the points ten minutes from time with a fine finish as he collected the ball in the penalty area from Hisham Chiha's possession pinch before manoeuvring onto his left foot and dispatching a curled shot into the bottom corner
