Mike's fastest run for the day 103.28secs on Saturday. Mike qualified and scored points in the morning and afternoon run offs and is currently Sat 6th overall in the British Sprint Championship with 188pts! 🏎️🏁

Cathy's 1st timed run on the Sat morning, qualifying 7th for the British Sprint Championship run off with a 100.96 secs her fastest time around Pembrey so far, which also won 1st in Class for the day despite crashing out on the last run. This is far from perfect but bare in mind we only get 1&3/4 practice lap in sprinting before the timed runs, so it's a matter of perfecting lines and braking as you go throughout the day while trying to push as hard as you dare, which is all part of the challenge and fun of sprinting. 🏎️🏁

Cathy crash testing yesterday on the last run and the car did its job! But we now have a lot of work to do before Mallory in a couple of weeks πŸ˜”πŸŽοΈ
Huge thanks to BARC officials, marshals, rescue and ambulance crew. πŸ™ŒπŸ‘

We travelled across to Pembrey for the BARC Summer Sprint weekend but unfortunately our weekend has been cut short and the car is now on the trailer, after Cathy stacked it into a tyre barrier on the last run of the day. Both drivers qualified and competed in the first run off to score points, with Cathy just pipping Mikes times. In the afternoon Mike scored in the run off while er hem Cathy visited the scenery, the evidential damage pictured below. Despite the carnage Cathy picked up 1st in class with a 100.96secs while Mike posted 103secs over the day.

Thanks to Josh Marchant and Holly Malpass-Weaver for running the car. πŸ™Œ

Huge thank you to the organisers, marshals, rescue and ambulance crew.

Cathy was fine but car is going to need a lot of TLC! 🏎️

Thanks to the Organisers and Marshals of Longton & District Motor Club for a great weekend, and for once again booking the nice weather. We contested another 4 rounds of the British Sprint Championship on the Eric Leadbetter Memorial Sprint and after round 10 on Sunday Mike currently sits in 8th place on 151 pts, and Cathy 7th with 160 pts. Cathy's consistent steady driving style vs Mike's aggressive attack mode, currently playing out in the points table, and we think Mikes favourite song must be "you spin me right round"πŸ˜† All that said Mike was the faster overall on sat by a good 3 secs but Cathy turned it around on Sunday just beating Mike's fastest time of 60.64 with a 60.35!

The car is developing nicely and there are still improvements in the pipeline, as it's one of the heaviest in the BSC. But our main focus is the driving, as this is currently where the biggest gains lie, it needs to be pedalled much faster around the bends to get the full benefit of the Aero, the car is very capable, the drivers on the other hand...
still need a lot of developementπŸ€”πŸ˜‚πŸŽοΈ

Huge thanks to our crew Josh Marchant and Holly, who did a brilliant job running the car this weekend. πŸŽοΈπŸ™Œ

Thanks to our wonderful sponsor The Buck & Bell for their support.

Well done to Chris Bull for competing in his first Sprint, it was great to have him join us for the weekend.

We will be out again in a couple of weeks at Pembrey Circuit.

Good first day at Blyton blasting around the Eastern circuit.
Cathy was slow to wake up but ended the day 12 secs quicker than the practice time, when starting out on new tyres. Mike was on it from the start (after some tyre scrubbing/warming from Cathy) setting a 66.73, unfortunately Mike spun at the finish on the first qualifying run so didn’t qualify for the British Sprint Championship run off, which handed Cathy a points advantage.
In the afternoon both drivers drove in the run off and by the end of play Mike’s fastest time was 64.11 secs and Cathy 3secs behind with a 67.10 Secs.
Apart from some aero repairs needed from Mikes trip to the gravel, all went well and we are ready to take on tomorrow’s outer circuit. 🏎️🏁

Huge well done to Dan who finished 2nd Overall today at Curborough πŸ† 🏎️πŸ”₯πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
This was his first competitive event in the single seater and only the second time of getting behind the wheel. He was double driving with his Dad, who could only manage 4th overall, apparently there was some excuse mentioned of tyres overheating πŸ›žπŸ”₯πŸ˜‰. Mike narrowly missed out on 3rd place by 0.2 of a sec.
Fastest Times: Dan 54.92 and Mike 55.7

Thank you to the Organisers and marshals of Sheffield and Hallamshire MC for a fun day of sprinting. πŸ™ŒπŸ

Home after a fun weekend sprinting with Longton & District Motor Club who had also kindly booked some nice weather for the event 🌞. After a visit to the rolling road prior to the event, we gained another 50bhp with the upgraded injectors and the car is now fabulous to drive, we are pretty much getting there with the improvements we want to make. The focus now is very much on upgrading and improving driver talent, which requires a lot of work! Cathy spent the weekend trying to brake later pretty much everywhere, and take less of a lift into the faster corners, Mike on the other hand seemed to be enjoying a 360 view of the track, once on Sat at seaman’s corner and then today when he decided to try taking target corner flat, but it didn’t quite go as planned when he found himself mowing the grass, unfortunately destroying a significant portion of diffuser in the process , so that was game over! which meant both drivers missing the chance to score points on the last timed run for British Sprint Championship.
So it’s on to the next round at Blyton in May.

Huge thanks to all the organisers and Marshals for a fab weekend of motorsport.🏁

Thanks to our lovely sponsors Pete and Cheryl from The Buck & Bell, who came to see us in the paddock in between taking their dog Barney to the beach.

Thanks to our amazing crew for this weekend, Jack, Josh, Holly, Dan and we also joined by Amy and Bailey on Sunday. πŸŽοΈπŸ”§πŸ“ˆπŸ“‰ πŸ™‚πŸ™Œ
