A Heartfelt Thank You 💙🏑
As our season comes to an end, we wanted to take a moment to say a huge and heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported the England Hockey Masters Women’s O55s this year.
Thanks to your incredible generosity and support, we have raised an amazing £8,000. We feel incredibly privileged that so many of you have believed in us, supported our journey and wanted to help us achieve our goals.
That £8,000 has come from so many different people and places — raffles, our auction, individual sponsors, family, friends and supporters — and every single contribution has made a difference.
Your support has helped us cover costs that players would otherwise have had to fund themselves, including:
🏑 £2,100 – Entry fees for the 4 Nations, Summer Nations and WMH World Cup
👕 £1,400 – Tournament souvenirs for all three events and squad T-shirts
💆♀️ £2,800 – On-pitch physio support at Summer Nations and the WMH World Cup
🚌 £1,800 – Team travel expenses during the 4 Nations, Summer Nations and WMH World Cup, plus additional team expenses
But your support has meant so much more than simply helping to pay the bills.
It has helped us train, travel, recover, compete and perform at our very best. It has taken away some of the financial pressure and allowed us to concentrate on what we love doing — representing England, competing together and enjoying every moment of this incredible journey.
From Belfast, through Southgate and ultimately to Brasschaat, you have been part of our journey every step of the way. And what a journey it has been.
We genuinely could not have done it without you.
