We recap on the End of Season awards and we’d love to share with you the winners….
Back of the Season goes to for being a powerhouse! Scoring over 15 tries over this season. She joined us at the start and we hope to see her back after studies 💚 Thank you Anne, see you soon! 🫂
Forward of the Season goes to .hales - Who is a champion in the lineouts and constantly works on her skills on the pitch. We can’t wait for next season to see what else she brings 💪
Best New Comer is a new award for this season but after having 19 NEW players sign up to us on GMS! This season the award goes to - She joined us in October and hasn’t looked back. Although she only discovered why we scrum in the later half of the season, she managed to get picked for Berkshire County - What a MASSIVE achievement and we can’t wait to have her back for more next season 💚
New award is Most Improved Player which went to another new player we had this season, 💚 Her determination from where she was when she started to how the season ended meant she was a force to be reckoned with - Her tackles were a thing to be feared! See you next season Gee 🔥
Our players player award went to .craven_ for her sheer determination on and off the pitch to herself and to what she has done for all the team. We are lucky to have her in our backs both on pitch and off 💚💚
Coaches player goes to a boomerang who had to come back and play with us one last time 💚 Whenever Ali was on the pitch the game calmed and got more controlled, with her kicks and insane runs got us points and tries on the board! We will miss you Ali, but wish you all the love and luck we can 💚💚
Our Donkey of the Season, didn’t go to a player but went to our coach - Who said he wasn’t going to go for our head coach role and then turns up at our training 2 days after…. We love you Sam and can’t wait for the 2026/27 season!! 💚💪🔥
Don’t worry, the Kites will be back and we will be back better than ever!
