No Lane Bosh this week but the ones did well to make a game of it after Alfie was cruelly taken from us with sore knee. The lads gave him a standing ovation as he was wheelchaired away. A spirited loss. It’s what Alfie would have wanted.

But all focus on the weekend’s main event as the giants of Sexy Joe’s Super Bears take on the titans of Ben’s Super Bears, in a T20 battle to see who will be described the victor in that one.

The Saturday rot continues with 2 losses, although Sam Whittle scored his maiden 50 for the twos.

The Sunday team won a well spirited affair. Charlie Davies got both his first senior run and home wicket, while Glen Eastham hit his first 50 for the club.
