“Good opening game today for the U9 blues. We had a solid start and were level at halftime but we lost a bit of energy in the second half and Garstang then took the lead. Charlie, our keeper got player of the match for some amazing saves!” 🙌🫶

Congratulations to our Under 14 Reds Player of the Match Winners Josh, Luke & Lyth ✨🏆✨

Gold-Josh@- this giant has been immense in net in both games and just gets better with every game. Pulled off some brilliant saves today and drew massive praise from the opposition coaches too. Well done pal👍🏻

Silver-Luke- brilliant performance as usual from Luke always gives 100%, reads the game perfectly and quite often gets us up the pitch with a mazy run.💪🏻

Bronze-Lyth- always makes something happen in the last third and usually delivers. He did again today by pressing the keeper and forcing the mistake. Great work!

Congratulations to our Under 11’s Player of the Match winners Harry & Connor ✨🏆✨

“A real battle from start to finish. We dominated the game overall but luck wasn’t on our side in the end - despite our best efforts we couldn’t stop hitting the post and crossbar! A joy to watch nevertheless and I was especially proud of how the team worked together.

Player of the Match went to Harry. His first game for us and what a game it was. Solid in Defence, Harry dealt with everything that was thrown at him. Great performance.

Spectators Player of the Match went to Connor. Usually an attacker, Connor played Goalkeeper today and did an outstanding job, tackling the opposition and charging the ball so many times I lost count. 💪🏻

Both very worthy winners and a massive well done to the rest of the team too. 🙌”

Congratulations to our Under 11 Blues Player of the Match winners Max ✨🐐✨& Elliot ✨🏆✨

“U11 Blues - With our Iceland kits on, we certainly got off to a frosty start! 🥶🇮🇸 We were up against a very strong opponent, but the team played some really good football throughout the match.

There were some great passages of play, with the boys moving the ball well and showing plenty of determination against a tough side.

A new GOAT trophy for the team today — the Best Moment in a Match — and Max was the very first winner! What a moment it was too, scoring our first goal with an incredible free kick from halfway! A strike worth remembering and a fantastic way to claim the first-ever award.

Our Player of the Match trophy went to Elliot for a super energetic performance. He never stopped working, showed great enthusiasm and gave everything for the team from start to finish. A thoroughly deserved award! ⚽️💙🐐 🏆”

“What a great start to the season!

Cockerham U7s vs Cockerham U8s

Even though the score wasn’t quite what the boys were hoping for, they played an outstanding game. They created plenty of chances, with so many shots on target that just didn’t quite find the back of the net.

The boys showed fantastic teamwork and resilience, proving that all the hard work they’ve been putting in is really paying off.

Today’s Player of the Match goes to a young boy who turns up to every game with a brilliant attitude. Whether he’s playing in defence, in goal or supporting from the sidelines, you will always hear him encouraging his teammates and boosting morale.

Today, Jaxon put in a truly outstanding performance. He was vocal, confident and executed everything he needed to brilliantly.

It’s always amazing to see the boys still having a kickabout amongst themselves afterwards, with huge smiles on their faces. That’s what it’s all about
