Our junior season was wrapped up today for 2026 with the under 13’s winning their play-off final in a thrilling game!

Huge congratulations to all of the under 13 players who went all season undefeated and finished with a win today to bring the trophy back to F&B. A special mention to Neal who took 6 wickets for just 8 runs 🏏💥

The rest of our teams; under 11, 12, 14, 15 and 17s have all had great playing seasons. Our under 10’s, softball under 08/09s had a fantastic training season as did the ever popular All Stars group.

This year we also introduced a girls training group, who played some friendlies and festivals showcasing the talent we have!

Lots of learning, development, fun, friendships and cricket 💚💛

A huge thank you to all our players, parents, coaches and volunteers without any of you none of the junior season happens.

Look forward to celebrating all of you next week at the presentation evening and here is to junior season 2027!

Whilst F&B hosted a Lancs foundation tournament, the girls team headed over to the new Farington ground for a Dynamo’s festival 🏏

They played fantastic, winning 3 games with some excellent skills on display. This is first season we have participated in girls games and the future is bright for women and girls cricket!!

Yesterday we hosted Chance to Shine young adults tape ball competition, with some real talent on show. 🏏

F&B entered two teams of our juniors to take part in a great day. They weren’t lucky enough to reach the final but well done to the teams who did and the eventual winners!!

This morning the ladies team were semi-final winners against New Longton 💚💛 A great game played by both sides with F&B coming out on top.

The ladies will now go onto the MHA Northern Pyramid Cricket Competition softball hundred cup final, a fantastic achievement.
