Just a quick few hours to get something done this morning before the fresh northerly came through here in Alderney so we opted for a tope session. Plenty of solid fish about up to around 40lb. Back in for lunch and a dry set of clothes

The weather for Alderney this week was a little on the tough side for the most part but the guys managed some lovely couches bream. Interesting to see that the red bream seem to be making a come back over there as well along with the ever abundant black bream, combers, huss and big tope

Some nice bass came out on this last tide. Couple of good days and a couple of slightly slower ones mostly down to whether we could catch bait or not

Another super rare one for us down in Poole. A 1lb 1oz streaked gurnard. Only the 2nd one i have seen onboard. Lovely looking fish. Is there anywhere where they are a regular occupancy? Had a few rare ones now this year. Maybe a sign of things to come.

Solid scrap off this one. Released in perfect condition with good colour and fins bolt up right. Love these fish!!

Big shout out to Gary Allner Custom Rods for the complete rebuild of this old school AFTCO 50lb class. Kept the original eyes, replaced the grip and updated the colour scheme. Looking epic in the black and gold. Held up very nicely under some pressure from its first porbeagle today.
