🤹FREE Climbing Pop In and Play! 🤹

What is Pop In and Play? These are parent supervised toddler climbing and play sessions. A fun, safe introduction for little ones. No minimum age, but best suited for confident walkers to get the most from the session. 🧗

‼️All participants whether climbing or supervising require a completed consent form before entering the wall. These are valid for three years before needing renewed. ASW's Fitness Manager Arlene and two members Michael and Heather are undertaking this epic challenge for PKD Charity - any and all support is much appreciated! 🚴💪🗾

📢EXCITING ANNOUNCMENT 📢

Our very own Fitness Manager Arlene and two of ASW's members Heather and Michael are taking on a massive challenge in the name of charity. 💪

The trio are cycling from Lizard Point to Dunnet Head, the southernmost and northernmost points on mainland UK, via Land’s End to John O’Groats in the hopes of raising as much money as they can for PKD Charity - a charity very close to Heather and Michael as Michael himself is living with Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD). 🚴

The three of them have already begun their training and are showing amazing strength of spirit and determination. They will be covering over a thousand miles this July and their hope is to spread as much awareness as they can about PKD and also raise as much as possible to support the life changing work PKD Charity do. 🗾

The ASW Team are fully behind them all and we will be documenting their journey so be sure to follow along for regular updates! 📸

Here at UHI Perth Climbing Centre we would like to show our support for Andrew Hyslop who is raising money for 'Climbers Against Cancer' in the name of his long-term climbing partner Martin McLoughlin. 🧗

Andrew will be taking part in the Aberdeen Kiltwalk on the 7th June which covers 18 miles from Banchory to Duthie Park in Aberdeen to try and spread awareness and raise as much money as possible for this great charity. So far the total raised is £1060. ⛰️

The Climbing Centre is open as usual this Easter Weekend and during the Easter Holidays. We will be running Holiday Youth Drop in Sessions, dates and booking links will be going live ASAP so please check the website if you are looking for some climbing fun for the kids. 🧗

🏅THE RESULTS ARE IN 🏅

We are thrilled to announce that we have THIRTY THREE of our own UHI Perth Climbing Centre climbers in the finals. 💥

All our young people have been climbing with us here at UHI Perth on our NICAS courses and we couldn't be prouder to see so many of them achieve such great scores. 🙌

💥 Over 400 young climbers have been taking part in the Fun Climbing Competition over the last 6 weeks, at twelve host walls, and the scores are now in! 💥

🏅We will be in touch with the top scorers in the next days with details for the Grand Final. Well done to all the young climbers across the country who took part and competed!
