Clay shooting venue offering S***t, Down the Line, ABT, High S***t, Compact Sporting and English sporting course.

Registered Sporting and Super Sporting competitions. Cockett Farm is a friendly, family run clay pigeon shooting ground situated between Mansfield and Newark in north Nottinghamshire. All of the major UK disciplines are available including a 50 target sporting course, s***t, down the line, compact sporting, FITASC and high s***t. We are open 6 days per week - closed Thursdays and do not charge any

membership fees. For those looking for tuition, we have a full time CPSA qualified instructor offering lessons and coaching from beginners to expert.

A great weekend for at the Bywell DTL weekend. Edward Armett taking junior prizes each day with 2nd at the sponsored day on Thursday, a win at the Dougall Memorial on Friday and 3rd at the English Open on Saturday.

was runner up at the Dougall Memorial and highest AA overall for the 3 days. Both Edward and Curtis were also in the winning 5 man team and Edward and Peter Armett won the Parent & child trophy at the English Open.

To cap it all Edward, Lee Wilcoxson & Paul Meakin secured their places in the England team for the forthcoming Home International match in Wales.

Well shot all in tricky conditions and well done to Bywell Shooting Ground for hosting an excellent championship weekend.

A big thank you to everyone that attended our registered Super Sporting today. This was the Nottinghamshire County Championship and the first time that we have hosted a County shoot.

The day was a great success with 106 shooters taking part in mainly sunny and calm conditions. As soon as the scores came in from the first few squads it was clear it would be a high scoring day. Overall high gun was Harry Minkley from Leicestershire with a very impressive 96.

The Nottinghamshire championship was won by Anthony Cross with 92, Ladies champion is Catherine Smalley on 90. The Veterans was tied between Paul Newbutt and John Dunne on 86 so a shoot off was required with John Dunne taking the honours.
