babyballet is a fun, award-winning pre-school dance concept for girls and boys from 6 months to 6 years. With schools right across the UK, babyballet dance classes allow babies, toddlers and young children to enjoy the physical and social benefits of ballet, song and dance in a safe, caring, positive and informal environment. With a real focus on learning through play, the unique babyballet syllabus offers four key stages of ballet and tap classes where every child can build their confidence and social skills, learning manners, discipline and respect while developing their basic ballet technique, coordination, musicality, balance, posture and rhythm. babyballet’s fully qualified, friendly and engaging dance teachers are joined in class by the babyballet bears, Twinkle & Teddy, who help to encourage all the little stars to interact and share as they learn to dance without any pressure. We think it’s time you got to know the wonderful people behind our babyballet classes! 💕🌟

First up, meet **Miss Leah**! 👋

📍 **Where will you find Miss Leah?**
Teaching our little stars at our **Cotgrave and Clipstone classes** 🩰

🩰 **How long have you been running babyballet Nottingham?**
I launched babyballet Nottingham in January 2019, so I’m coming up to 8 years! 💕

💕 **What’s your favourite thing about teaching our little stars?**
It’s seeing them each week and watching them grow in confidence. I absolutely love my babyballet stars! 🥰

🎶 **Favourite babyballet song?**
Hmmmm… that’s a tough one! I think it might have to be Di**le Dangle Scarecrow. 🌟

✨ **And a little bit about you…**
I’m a girls’ mum (of two!), newly obsessed with Vanilla Iced Matcha Lattes ☕️, as well as the odd glass of fizz 🥂, and I’ve ALWAYS got a to-do list on the go!

I’m currently recovering from a fractured wrist thanks to a fall whilst out running… I have now officially retired from running! 😂

And yes… I married a rockstar! 🎸🤘 Oh, and I LOVE to sing — especially in class! 🎶

Our teachers are such a huge part of what makes our classes feel fun, friendly and welcoming, and we can’t wait for you to get to know them a little better. 💖

Our Tinies classes are where the babyballet journey begins! 🌟

Created especially for little stars aged 18 months to 3 years, Tinies introduces children to the wonderful world of dance through music, movement and lots of fun. 💕🌈

With their grown-up joining in alongside them, our little dancers can explore movement, learn new skills and begin to build their confidence in a fun, friendly and welcoming environment.

There are plenty of giggles, magical moments and, of course, lots of dancing along the way! 🥰

It’s not about getting every step perfect — it’s about encouraging little ones to join in, express themselves and discover a love of dancing at their own pace. ⭐

We caught up with her to find out why she loves teaching babyballet—and it’s as heartwarming as it sounds! 💛

💃 Why she became a babyballet teacher:
“Being a babyballet teacher is my dream job! I love to dance and have worked with children for over 20 years. Finding a role that combines the two? Absolutely the best thing in my career!”
