Fantastic morning for some of our vocational dancers.

We were delighted to work with John from University of Lincoln to deliver a Contemporary dance workshop as part of their outreach work.

Our dancers really embraced the class, new techniques and freedom of movement.

It was amazing to learn from such an enthusiastic and knowledgeable teacher. Huge thanks John.

Yesterday Miss Webster went to watch ex SDS student Ellie perform in her competition showcase.
Ellie is about to finish her degree in dance at but alongside this she has been a huge part of their dance society, being president for the past year. Ellie showed so much progress in her dance and performance but also has become an amazing choreographer and teacher. To top it off she was described as the most caring, thoughtful and dedicated president who was genuinely loved by all.
We are so proud of you Ellie and we can’t wait to see where your future takes you ❤️

We are now offering places this summer from Monday 6 to Friday 10 July for Year 10 and Year 12 students who are interested in theatre, performance, and the creative industries.

Across the five days, participants will be hosted in a range of departments to gain insight into the theatre industry.
