Today we did a different type of session. Not able to ride as no saddles or bridles so we practiced leading ponies instead. Take a moment to read the thoughts of a parent:
“I’m reaching out today to ask for help for a truly incredible place that means the world to so many people, including Leyla.
Kesteven Rideability has recently suffered a devastating theft where all of their equipment was stolen. This equipment wasn’t just “things” — it was essential for providing therapy, confidence building, independence, and joy to children and adults living with disabilities.
For Leyla, this riding school is so much more than an activity. It’s a place where she feels free, empowered, calm, and happy. The therapy and wellbeing benefits she gains from riding are hard to put into words. It helps her physically, emotionally, and mentally, and seeing the smile it brings to her face is something we treasure deeply.
The staff and volunteers at the RDA work tirelessly to create a safe and supportive environment for every rider. They give their time, patience, kindness, and dedication without hesitation, and it’s heartbreaking to think that something so positive and life-changing has been hit in this way.
Right now, they urgently need support to replace the stolen equipment and get back on their feet so they can continue helping the people who rely on them every single week.
If you are able to donate — no matter how big or small — it would make such a huge difference. Even if you can’t donate, simply sharing this post could help reach someone who can. Every contribution, every share, and every bit of support matters.
Please help us support this vital RDA riding school and the amazing community it serves. Places like this change lives, and they deserve all the support we can give them. ❤️
Thank you so much for reading, sharing, and supporting”
