La Squadra Fondo d'foglie Morte - NEXT WEEKEND!

Gents, sorry for the radio silence. La Squadra is back next weekend (holysh*tholysh*tholysh*t). I know you are all very excited but it is time to get serious. Are we all still in?

Ride has been confirmed as a 141km onslaught from Nottingham -> Newark -> Lincoln and back with a sprint finish to the road sign at Caythorpe.

All flat but the Lincoln section will have a brutal cobbled sprint up the aptly named 'Steep Hill'.

There will be a camera crew on route filming and photo-ing. If anyone needs/wants a BNOC jersey, they are £40 and YOU MUST LET ME KNOW BEFORE MONDAY (24th).

Friday night. Team presentation at the Poacher in Nottingham...massive p**s up if anyone is around.

Saturday. Leisurely training ride to recce the route.

Sunday. 9am start.

Gents, the time has come.

The jerseys, arm warmers and overshoes are now online to purchase. They will only be available to buy until 15th May at Midnight. After that, orders will be collated, manufactured and dispatched (about 3 weeks). Bib shorts and other stash will be coming soon.

Despite the pricing on the website, I have had a word and you will only be charged (£35) per jersey - considering they usually sell for £55/£60 and they are handmade in the UK, you are welcome. Your order will automatically have your Surname/National Flag down the side (just message me with your flag choices once you order).

Right, BNOC Cycling - European Tour Team. Need to finalise a team of 6 for La Squadra Fondo. I'm at the Team Captain's meeting on Thursday so would be good to have an idea who is still keen.

THE PLAN:
Early Afternoon 19th May: Arrive in Nottingham - 2 hour gentle ride.
Evening 19th May: Dinner and La Squadra Team Presentation
Night 19th May: One Beer

Morning 20th May: Start line -> 100 miles.
