I would legit hate for an Amplifier Coach to feel like they were just a number to me.

A few digits in a Stripe dashboard.

I can’t imagine getting excited to join a mentor, and jumping on their launch…

For them to post later on saying “these tactics worked and made me loads of money”.

If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it hundreds of times…

And I’ll KEEP saying it.

You cannot market your way out of a retention problem.

“But better marketing gets better clients that stay longer…”

… said the person that doesn’t have the actual skillset required to keep clients.

People will initially come towards you because they want to achieve something.

They’ll stay because of the experience they have, and the person they become with your guidance.

Half-arsed effort gets half-arsed results.

I don’t know a single person that would outwardly admit that they’re half-arsing anything.

But I reckon that people know deep down.

You can tell people that you’re trying to grow your business.

But are you actually?

You can say that you want to be the best coach possible.

But do you actually?

Because the thing that matters are your actions, not your words.

Commitment is a competitive advantage.

It’s a mad world where that’s the case, but it’s the one we’re currently living in.

It’s something every single person has access to.

So use it.

If your average retention is 6 months, you need to replace every single client in your business twice a year just to stay where you are.

Most coaches don’t actually know their average retention figure.

Not because they don’t care, but because it’s not a number anyone’s ever told them to track.

So they guess.

And the guess is almost always more generous than the reality.

Because you remember the client who’s been with you eighteen months.

You don’t immediately think about the five who left at twelve weeks.

That’s how averages work.

The industry has had coaches obsessing over leads, content, and sales for years.

And none of that is wrong.

But if clients are leaving as fast as you’re signing them, more leads just means more leaking.

The bucket needs sorting before you start pouring more into it.

Start asking why the clients you’ve already got aren’t staying longer.

That question alone will change more about your business than any lead gen strategy ever will.

*THURSDAY 25TH JUNE*

Goal setting should be one of the first things you do with your clients.

If done well it can set them up in a way that keeps them engaged, motivated, and adherent.

It can also future pace them for 18 months, right from the off.

If done badly, it can either overwhelm them or squash their excitement.

And f**k things up before they’ve even had chance to hit the ground running.
