I’ve spent the last few years pouring everything I have into SDP.

The filming. The programming. The coaching. The app. The member experience. The constant tweaking, improving and refining behind the scenes.

Sometimes it’s easy to get caught up in what still needs to be done, but every now and then I read messages like these and I’m reminded why I started in the first place ❤️

Knowing that SDP is helping women feel stronger, more confident, more capable and more connected to their bodies means more to me than I can put into words.

Every class, challenge, programme and update is created with that goal in mind.

So if you’ve ever left a review, sent a message, shared a win or simply shown up and pressed play, thank you 💙

You are the reason I work so hard to make SDP the very best it can possibly be.

❤️

Why you need a MOUSE HOUSE ⬇️

One of the biggest mistakes I see in Pilates is people collapsing into the mat instead of lifting out of it 👀

I call this the “mouse house” 🐭🏠
A small lift through the side body that creates space under the waist, stops the ribs from collapsing, and switches your core on properly.

It looks tiny… but it changes everything.

Instead of just hanging in the position, you create tension, support and actual deep core engagement 💪🏼

Try it next time you’re on the mat and see how different it feels.

I’ve always hated the term “bouncing back”…

It implies the goal is to return to who you were before pregnancy. The same body. The same strength. The same version of you.

But pregnancy changes you. Physically, mentally and emotionally. Your body adapts to carry, grow and deliver a human being, which is an extraordinary level of demand.

➡️ So the answer isn’t rushing to “get your old body back.”

It’s rebuilding in a way that supports the body you have now.

Because after pregnancy, things have changed 💙

Your core functions differently. Your pelvic floor has been through enormous load and pressure. The way your body stabilises, transfers force and manages movement has changed too.

That doesn’t mean you’re weaker forever. It means you need a smarter approach.

One focused on rebuilding strength properly, not throwing yourself into random workouts and hoping for the best.

And honestly? I think that process has the potential to make you feel even stronger, more capable and more connected to your body than before pregnancy.

That’s exactly why I created Rise & Rebuild.

A clear, structured postnatal recovery series designed to help you rebuild properly, without rushing the process or guessing your way through it.

There are 7 progressive classes, and you repeat each one 3–6 times at your own pace before moving on. Every class has been independently reviewed by leading women’s health physios, and the entire series was shaped by my own recovery journey after healing a five-finger-wide diastasis recti following the birth of my twins.

If you’re ready to rebuild properly, comment “RISE” and I’ll send you the details 🔗📣

Shorter workouts are often more effective than longer ones, not because they’re easier, but because they’re realistic and actually get repeated 🔁

And your body changes based on what gets repeated 👏🏼

So if you ever wonder whether a 10-minute workout is worth it, the answer is always YES 💥

💡 Want to make those shorter sessions even more effective? Start using combination movements. Layer core into lower body work, add balance into strength work, train multiple systems at once instead of isolating everything.

That’s exactly how we structure workouts inside SDP. We have hundreds of short, focused sessions built around smart programming and combination movements, so you get more out of every minute 💪🏼

Because it’s not about doing more. It’s about doing it properly and doing it consistently.
