Yellow Vibes. I think we could all do with a little sunshine now and then!

Throwback to when my gorgeous uni friends .m came down to London and we decided to go for hungover fancy tea but it was cold miserable British weather so I decided to lift the mood with some yellow. You can never go wrong with some tea, friends and yoga.

And yes I know my eyes are closed but I’m genuinely smiling and I love the joy in my face in this moment.

Light shopping and came across this beauty.

I used to think being happy was the most important thing we could aim for in life. It took me a long time to realise being constantly happy is not a healthy reality.
There will be times when we feel pleasant emotions like happiness, pride, excitement. Likewise we will all feel sadness, fear and anger at times too. All of these feelings will come and go just like the seasons. No single emotion is better or more important than the other, they are all valid and have a place in our lives. We need to notice the feelings and recognise them for what they are. Approach your feelings with gentle curiosity and playfulness. What is causing this state of mind? What is my body trying to tell me?

Please note, if you are persistently feeling sad, depressed, anxious or angry please seek help. There is no shame in taking care of your body and mind.

For now, instead of seeking happiness, I am aiming to be content. Content with whatever life throws at me and accepting the good and the bad for what it is. A part of nature and a part of life.

Hello friends! I am now offering Chair Yoga classes at Merton and Morden Social Guild. As a junior doctor, I strongly believe in the power of preventative medicine and that's where yoga comes in to improve balance, strength, coordination and a present mind. Please share and spread the word. Classes start next Monday 11am-12pm.

Monday 7th March at 11am.
JESSICA DOES YOGA. Specially adapted for older people. Jessica will deliver our first SEATED Yoga class which may take in breathing exercises and meditation.
It's a taster class and this one is free to attend.

Hello all, I’m excited to announce Yoga classes will now be available in person at Cranleigh Tennis Club every Wednesday from 1:30-2:30pm!

These classes incorporate Western Medicine with traditional Yogic practice for better physical and mental health.
