“Don’t come back like a buffalo” 🦬

The kind words from before my first trip of the year 🇬🇷

Very simple to manage

Just don’t be a total d*ckhead

Enjoy it, have some balance and downtime

But also be smart with your decisions

Here’s how I’ve been doing that so far

1️⃣ high protein at every meal consumed (easy to do when you’ve got years of experience)

2️⃣ full body sessions at the gym to keep the physique ticking over

3️⃣ 10k+ steps are so easy when you’re abroad, a very effective way to manage your energy balance and digestion

4️⃣ enjoy some different variety of foods guilt free (tend to do this in the evening with a couple of drinks)

5️⃣ breakfast is always a staple and I like to pick foods I’ve had at home to set myself up for a good start to the day

6️⃣ take your vitamins abroad, this will keep your bodily functions in order

It Really is that simple

Don’t overthink it, enjoy it and be ready to come back looking in good condition still

The weekly update across two countries 🇬🇷 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Day 2 commences of the first holiday of the year

Showcased some unbelievable results at the start of the week

ticked off a 121 call with everyone on the team before I went away - clarity, direction & planning

This holidays purpose = relax, recharge & recover

And it’s been perfect so far 🔋

The hotel gym isn’t great but we make do with what we’ve got

Recording a holiday vlog on the Osmo too whilst we’re here which I’m excited to get out on the YouTube channel

What a way to end the week

Here’s to the next 8 days in paradise…

10 month process with .andrews.583 👏🏻

This is the outcome of trusting each phase

Not falling off and giving up when losing weight becomes challenging

It’s meant to be

Or not sacking it off early doors because you look a bit “bulky” when adding tissue

This usually happens…

Craig trusted each phase

Not only that, he’s been able to do this around many of the things a lot would use an excuses to not even start

Social occasions most weeks
Long hours at work
Injuries we’ve had to overcome

We’ve also done this without being aggressive at either end of the scale

We barely went below 2000 calories during the recomp

And we’ve only just gone above 3500 calories when putting on tissue

Both very manageable

But it means now Craig is about to start his next phase to lose some body fat and start showing some condition for summer..

He won’t need to drop to 67kg
He won’t need to be aggressive
He’ll also have more tissue

I think guesswork and eyeballing gets you nowhere

I used to do this for a few years when I first started out

It got me absolutely nowhere

The moment I started tracking, becoming more educated around food and getting a level of accountability

Progress started to happen

That wasn’t by chance

It’s because it works

It’s why I’ve made so much progress the last 5 years

It’s the reasons we’ve seen many results in the team

Guesswork is guesswork

If you don’t know how macro’s work, or what you’re doing wrong and you’re seeing no change

But you’re simply guessing

I guarantee that’s why you’re stuck

You’re stuck as you’re on repeat

That same training plan you’ve been for years isn’t working..

But yet you continue to do it

You continue to make the same mistakes every weekend..

And then start again every Monday

You’re telling yourself you’re seeing changes

But in a matter of fact, there’s been none

You’re scared of failing, doing something out of comfort zone or even making that change

Maybe you don’t want to admit to it

Trust me, I get it

As men we don’t like to do that

But those that take that leap and admit to their mistakes

Are the ones who will grow

Don’t be scared of failure

Instead see it as an opportunity

Holding condition, filling out & getting stronger

Applying what I teach in terms of how to reverse out of a diet

Which in my opinion, is the hardest thing to do

It’s where a lot of people fall off

They lose focus, become weak with their actions

Too many cals too quickly
Not disciplined with their food choices

It can lead to you ruining your physique within a matter of weeks

All that hard work, gone

I’m very settled with where I am now after a couple of tough weeks

Back to feeling myself and putting one foot in front of the other
