Women's Training Club membership opens again on 1st July ❤️
I've had a few messages recently from women saying they'd love to join, but they're worried they're not fit enough, strong enough or won't know what they're doing.
Pretty much every woman currently in the group felt exactly the same before they started.
The reality is nobody turns up on day one knowing everything. That's my job 😌

WTC is for women who want to get stronger and fitter, feel more confident in the gym and in their own skin... and have support and accountability along the way.

Everyone follows a programme that's tailored to them, so whether you're brand new to strength training or have been training for years, you'll be working at the right level for you.

I'm running a *free* taster session this Sunday if you'd like to come and see what it's all about.

And if you can't make Sunday but you're interested in joining, that's absolutely fine too! You don't need to attend the taster to become a member 😊

✨ Deficit Diaries✨ Week 6/6 😭
Well that's it... The final week of Summer Reset.

Starting weight: 59.85kg | Current weight: 56.8kg
Total loss: 3.05kg

I'm really proud of that because this has probably been the most balanced dieting phase I've ever done.

This week alone included:
🍕 Homemade woodfired pizza courtesy of my big brother
👧🏼 A scarecrow festival with my nieces
🍲 A 2 course Father's Day meal
🐶 Dog walks
🏃🏼‍♀️ Running with Little John
💪🏻 Some absolutely brilliant training sessions
🌅 Beautiful sunsets
🍫 Chocolate everyday, obvs.. And a sports massage that left me looking medically concerning

AND YET... the scales still moved 👏🏻

My biggest win these last six weeks has been reminded that fat loss doesn't need to mean putting your life on hold.

I've still eaten out with family. I've still had alcohol. I've still had chocolate most days. I've been to spa days, festivals, beer gardens and still done all the things I actually enjoy doing. The difference was just being consistent with the basics.

For me that looked like: • 1700-1800 calories • Minimum 120g protein • Plenty of steps • Lots of training... But nothing revolutionary. Just six weeks of showing up.

I know some people expect me to say it's been really hard, but ... it hasn't 😏 (pls don't hate me)
There have definitely been hungry moments and there have been days where hitting protein felt like a full-time job 😂 But overall it's felt surprisingly easy to fit around real life. Which is absolutely my biggest win!

The goal was to prove that you can work towards a goal without becoming the person who says no to everything, lives on salad and spends six weeks being miserable. I completed it 👏🏻

6 Week Summer Reset may be over, but I'm carrying on the deficit for another 4-6 weeks, so don't panic... The deficit diaries aren't finished just yet 😌

You've probably seen Women's Training Club popping up on my page recently... 👀
The women squatting weights they never thought they'd lift and the sweaty finishers they all pretend to hate 😏
But more importantly.. The confidence, progress and community 🥰
If you've looked at any of it and thought "I'd love to do something like that..." well good bloody news because I'm running a free taster session!

Women's Training Club isn't like a bootcamp or just turning up to random workouts. And it's definitely not being shouted at while someone blasts Pitbull through a speaker (well maybe sometimes 🤪)
It's small group coaching for women who want to get fitter and stronger, train properly and actually enjoy coming to the gym.

There is no experience required or any expectation that you're already fit. And you definitely don't need to know what you're doing.

That's my job 🥰

The taster is just a chance to come along, meet some lovely women and see what it's all about.

People are constantly looking for *the thing*.
The magical supplement stack, the detox (which isn't a thing by the way) or the meal plan with the perfect macro split..

Meanwhile the women getting the best results are doing the boring stuff over and over again.

They're lifting weights, eating [mostly] decent food, getting their steps in, prioritising sleep... And then doing it all again tomorrow.
It's not sexy, nor is it complicated. But if you'd just commit to it for long enough, I promise it works.

(Which is mildly inconvenient for everyone trying to sell you something else 👀)

DEFICIT DIARIES: WEEK 5/6 ❤️ Week 5 is done!
The scales haven't moved this week, but considering I disappeared to a spa for two days, didn't track a thing and my step count took an absolute nosedive, I'll happily take it 😌

It's been a week to remind me why I'm *so* against the all or nothing approach. A few years ago I'd have gone away, eaten the food, enjoyed the prosecco then spent the whole weekend worrying about the damage I'd done 😭 This time I just... enjoyed it.
I had the best couple of days with my mum, sister and sister-in-law. We sat in a hot tub overlooking the countryside, ate some delicious food, got lovingly harassed by dogs at breakfast and simply had a wonderful time.

Then I came home, carried on as normal and cracked on with the habits I know work.

Training has been solid too, although my coach has apparently declared war on my legs and decided that every lift now needs a painfully slow eccentric attached to it 👀 My legs are questioning our relationship and yesterday's squats were genuinely offensive 🤢

One of my favourite moments this week was having my niece, Poppy, come along to Women's Training Club. She made herself right at home, took over the assault bike and was immediately more popular than me. Fair enough, I guess.

So whilst the scales haven't given me anything exciting to report, I still feel really positive about the week.
I've trained well, eaten well (most of the time), had some wonderful family time and made memories that are worth far more than a slightly lower weigh-in 🥰

Sooo one week left. Let's see what happens ❤️
