Lost my big girl Jura yesterday.
The kindest pup with the biggest heart, a very soft, funny wee girl taken far too soon.
Am left absolutely heartbroken 💔
She taught me a lot.
Goodnight and God Bless you Big Doggle, it was a privilege to be your friend for nearly 9 years. You will be forever missed. We lo🧡e you so much 😢 🌈 😭

2 DAY SPANIEL GAME TRAINING 18/19 OCT 2026 OXTON NEAR LAUDER TD2.

A 2 day training programme designed to get you and your dogs ready for coming into contact with live game and working towards field trials. It is a progressive programme and you will be on both days to get the maximum benefit.

If your dog has never been exposed to game or been shot over yet, this is the ideal scenario for you to train with others in the same situation.

In the 2 days, you will understand the standard that you and your dog will need to strive for when entering a field trial.

Your dog will be exposed to game, maybe for the first time, hunting, flushing and shooting over.

It’s a big deal to take the first step on live game and these days are absolutely ideal to experience in full the reality of what you’ve been training for in a controlled, friendly environment, with a top spaniel trainer.

Nobody will be judging your ability, it will be a relaxed environment, these are training days and are designed to get the best out of you and your dog.

Above all, we have fun!

We are delighted to have a top spaniel trainer and ‘A’ panel judge for the 2 days.

ONLY REQUIREMENT - your dog is trained to the stop and recall whistle and does not run in on marks.

Fantastic drives, exciting high pheasant, fast partridge coveys and even the Driven Grouse!
