❤️ Kelso Harlequins' Charity Partner for the 2026/27 season is Kelso Heartbeat.

These bibs will be worn on matchdays during the warm up and by substitutes, and the Harlequins will be making a donation to Kelso Heartbeat at our annual 7s.

Kelso RFC are excited to host a Rugby Matters workshop focussing on Marketing & Communication - looking at how we can connect to our audiences through social media!

If you run or are involved with a team that runs a social media page this is a brilliant opportunity to learn new methods of connecting with viewers and members, strengthening your clubs identity and communicating to attract players, sponsors and supporters.

It isn’t exclusive to Rugby, despite being a Scottish Rugby workshop - so individuals from all sports clubs are welcome, you just need to sign up for it through SCRUMS!

⏰ - Monday the 14th of September. 6-8:30pm

🏉 WOMEN & GIRLS COMMUNITY RUGBY COACH

Kelso RFC are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Women & Girls Community Rugby Coach to help grow opportunities for women and girls across Kelso and the wider Scottish Borders.

The role will focus on increasing participation, strengthening links between schools and clubs, supporting players as they transition into club rugby and creating more opportunities for girls to get involved in the game, with a particular focus on U12 and U14 girls.

You’ll also help deliver regional rugby programmes and events, support female players into coaching, officiating and volunteering, and celebrate the great work happening across the women and girls game.

📍 Based at: Kelso RFC, Poynder Park
⏰ Contract: 0-hour contract, up to 15 hours per week
💷 Pay: £15 per hour
📅 Hours: Flexible, including school, after-school and evening work
🏉 Benefits: Training and qualifications, Scottish Rugby Development Officer support and work clothing provided

We’re looking for someone who is a confident communicator, passionate about rugby development and excited about helping more women and girls enjoy the game.

SHARKS WIN! 🦈

Great for the Sharks to get 5 points on the road to start their league campaign. Fastastic for our small community to have had two teams in action on a Saturday afternoon!
