East District Round 3 for our swimmers this weekend. Our swimmers are doing amazing. Swims from Lucie, Rowan, Luke and Jasper. 100m swims - lots of PBs and some finals. Well done swimmers. Go Kelso!

Well done to Rowan, Luke and Lucie who all swam brilliantly this weekend. Some great PB's, 2nd place for Luke in the 200BK and 3rd in the 100 fly, 3rd place for Lucie in the 50 BR. 👏👏👏

Some fabulous swimming again this weekend at the ELST Age group meet. Amazing PB's, Bronze for Rowan in the 400fs and Gold for Lucie in the 50Br and Bronze in the 50fly. 🤩🥇👏👏👏

Day 2 at EDAGs with Lucie, Jasper and Luke all achieving PBs 👏👏. Jasper made the final in both the 50m Breaststroke and Freestyle, rounding off a great weekend!

Well done Rowan, Lucie, Jasper and Luke competing at EDAGs round 2 today. Some great swimming, with PBs and Jasper narrowly missing out on a medal in the 50m Fly (over 17 year old) final. Keep it up tomorrow 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️. Sorry I didn’t catch Luke for a photo today.

A HUGE thank you to Charity Begins At Home Kelso for another fantastic grant that has allowed us to buy equipment for the club that we otherwise would not be able to afford. We are steadily losing money each month due to cost increases so the support from organisations like CBAH really is greatly appreciated.

The latest grant allowed us to replace many of our aging swim fins but also meant we could buy a static jump trainer to improve the explosive departure from the starting blocks or the wall after a turn. The KASC Jump League is now underway and should add some additional fun and competition for the swimmers. We may also challenge other local sports clubs to a 'jump off' so watch this space!
