⚽️Game over folks ⚽️

Evening all,
Its with mixed emotions that we announce the end of our Youth Football journey here at Kelso 2009s /2010s ,
From fun 4s to U17s we've had a heck of a journey, plenty smiles ,tears and fall outs to making friends for life on and off the pitch we've had it all,
Trips from Eyemouth to West Calder , The Lothians and Edinburgh, 2 trips to Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts in Fife and a Scottish Cup trip to Glasgow to play St Cadocs and everywhere in between we've covered some mileage with this group,
Add in 2 trips to the Blackpool Cup and also the Brabant Open in Holland which we won we've been a busy group, pushing to give the boys the best football and life experience we can ,
Myself, Gary Hewie, Andy Swints , Andy Gray, Kieron Hume coaches on our journey would like to thank all the players that have pulled on the Kelso jersey for us , youre efforts were 1st class
We would also like to thank all the sponsors over the years, from new strips, to tracksuits, to winter jackets hats and hoodies we were certainly looking the part over the years,
To the referess who have also guided the boys on their journey,you're input and influence on the boys is noted too,
And finally all the parents and supporters, without you we wouldnt of been able to travel throughout the countryside like we have, its been some effort from you guys aswell,

⚽️⚽️Additional Coach Required ⚽️⚽️

Kelso Football Club U18s are on the lookout for an additional coach to work alongside our current coaches as we look to take the boys development to the next stage before progressing to U20s or adult football,
We have a good competitive bunch of boys from across the borders keen to improve and compete in the SERYFA Div 1 ,

Training is twice a week up till winter then once a week at Kelso High School 3G,
Games every Saturday either at Woodside Park or away games up in Edinburgh and the Lothians , Ko times vary from late morning to early afternoons,
Its a fairly committed position but very enjoyable watching the boys progressing and the club would pay for any coaching certificates required too,

As 1 season finishes we start to look ahead to next season,
Competing as U18s in the SERYFA league we are looking to build on a successful season in the highly competitive League,

Were looking for 2 or 3 committed players to complete our squad as a couple of boys have move onto pastures new ,

Training during the week(Nights to be confirmed)and games on a Saturday lunchtime/early afternoon,

Kane Somerville with his proud parents as Friday nights final was Kanes last game for us,
After being with us for 8 or 9 years it was an emotional time saying goodbye to a player who joined as young boy and is leaving as a young man,
We would like to wish Kane all the best from us and dont be a stranger ⚽️🫡
