You only need one day to change the entire trajectory of your life.

It doesn’t matter if life hasn’t gone the way you hoped up to this point.

If you can get up, get out, and start battling life instead of hiding from it, everything can change.

Stop sitting in your fu***ng misery.

I lived that life.

Misery is a con artist.

It convinces you that you’re powerless.
It tells you that you’re stuck.
It makes you believe that life is happening to you.

It’s a lie.

The moment you take responsibility, move your body, and take action, you take your power back.

One decision.
One action.
One day.

That’s all it takes to start changing everything.

Misfits Boxing is a joke.

Boxing is built on integrity, discipline, courage, and sacrifice. It’s a sport that demands years of hard work and dedication.

Yet the world seems determined to turn it into entertainment and gimmicks.

You might be at the start of your journey right now.

Maybe you’re thinking about packing in the drinking. Maybe you’re thinking about distancing yourself from people who don’t want what’s best for you. Maybe you’re just fed up with living a life that keeps pulling you further away from the man you know you could be.

The hard part is looking ahead and seeing how far you’ve got to go.

You know the body you want, the confidence you want, the freedom you want isn’t going to happen overnight.

But here’s the thing…

If you don’t make the decision to change, you already know what’s waiting for you.

More of the same.

The same conversations.

The same excuses.

The same habits.

The same frustration every time you look in the mirror or lie in bed at night knowing you’re capable of more.

Most men don’t want accountability because accountability removes the excuses.

It forces you to look at yourself and admit that nobody is coming to change your life for you.

It’s on you.

That might sound harsh, but I found it freeing.

The day I stopped blaming everything around me was the day things started to change.

That’s why I talk about championing this era of your life.

Not just losing weight.

Not just building muscle.

Building yourself.

Becoming a man you respect when nobody is watching.

The life you want is there.

But it starts with a decision.

Not Monday.

Not next month.

Today.

I was 18 in this photo.

Absolutely pished. About two years deep into drinking and taking drugs.

I was a lost wee guy with no idea how to escape the misery I was living in.

Whenever I went out with my pals, I always had to take it too far. Drink too much. Push everything to the extreme.

At school, once I got involved with drugs, I started building a reputation for all the wrong reasons.

Behind it all, I was battling anxiety, stress, and a complete lack of direction.

My life revolved around getting out my face and avoiding reality.

Stealing, smoking, drinking and popping pills,

I didn’t care about my future.
I didn’t care what my life would look like in five years.
I was just existing.

And that went on for about five years.

But change doesn’t happen overnight.

It takes time.
It takes routine.
It takes patience.
And above all, it takes hope.

As I started trying to change my life,Rumours got spread. People talked. Some tried to drag me back into the person I used to be.

But I’d had enough.

I got my head down.
I gave it all up.
After many failed attempts.
And I started building a new life from the ground up.

This month marks 5 years sober.

Five years of facing challenges instead of running from them.
Five years of rebuilding my mind and body.
Five years of becoming the man I wanted to be.

My story isn’t about being special.

It’s about showing people that change is possible.

It’s about understanding the power of patience, discipline, and true character development.

Because the reality is, my life could have turned out completely different.

If you’re struggling right now, don’t give up on yourself.

The person you become in five years is built by the choices you make today.

Dishonesty is one of the worst traits a man can have because the moment a man loses his integrity, he loses trust.

A man’s word should mean something.

If you say you’re going to do something, do it. If you can’t, own it.

Dishonesty isn’t just lying to others. It’s saying one thing and doing another.

It’s claiming loyalty while acting differently when nobody is watching.

It’s backbiting people behind their backs.
It’s cutting corners in training and expecting results you haven’t earned.

It’s saying you want change while continuing the habits that keep you stuck.

The biggest form of dishonesty I see in men is lying to themselves.

ā€œI’ll start Monday.ā€

ā€œI’ll get back in shape.ā€

ā€œI’ll do it tomorrow.ā€

Then tomorrow never comes.

Every promise you break to yourself chips away at your self-respect.

Over time, you stop trusting yourself.

Confidence isn’t built through positive thinking.

It’s built by keeping promises to yourself.

Character is who you are when nobody is watching.

Champion this era of your life. šŸ›”ļøšŸ’ŖšŸ»šŸ—”ļø

A client joined the Leader 365 programme at the start of the year after trying for years to get where he wanted to be on his own.

Like a lot of men, he’d have periods where things were going well. He’d be training, eating better, making progress, and then life would get busy and he’d find himself back in old habits.

When we first spoke, he told me that old habits would creep in whenever work became hectic. His nutrition became reactive. The routine he had would slip. Before he knew it, he’d be frustrated that he wasn’t where he wanted to be. The cycle kept repeating itself.

Fast forward to now and he’s 14kg down, in great shape, and feeling at the top of his game.

But this isn’t just about losing weight.

What I’m most proud of is the way he’s showing up for himself. He’s more consistent than he’s ever been.

He’s training regularly, following a structured plan, and has even taken up running. His fitness is improving week by week, and we’re already looking at getting his first 10K booked in soon.

A big part of that has come from the Men’s Running Club and the structure we have inside Leader 365.

One thing that really stands out was a conversation we had during one of our coaching calls. We started talking about some of the things that were holding him back, and one pattern kept coming up.

He was being reactive with his nutrition.

Once we identified it, everything started to make more sense. There was a real lightbulb moment when he realised that although work and life can be busy, he’s still in control of the decisions he makes each day.

That shift changed everything.

Because the truth is, you can get results with a busy job, family commitments, and the pressures of everyday life.

You just need an approach that works for you rather than against you.

The 14kg loss is a fantastic result, but what excites me most is that he’s built habits and routines that support the life he wants to live.

He’s no longer relying on motivation.

He’s building consistency.

What has happened to kids today?

I’m genuinely worried about what the future looks like for the next generation.

When I was younger, we’d be out playing football until it got dark, riding our bikes, playing games for hours, and making our own fun. We were outside, active, socialising face-to-face, and learning valuable life lessons without even realising it. Those experiences helped build character, resilience, confidence, and friendships.

Now, you hardly see kids out playing football in the park or hanging around with their mates the way we used to.

Instead, most of them seem to be sitting on their phones, scrolling through social media, watching videos, or staring at screens for hours on end.

What are they all doing?

Have times really changed that much, or are we losing something that helped shape us into who we are today?
