Recovery is one of the most overlooked aspects of performance in netball!
While stretching, foam rolling and active recovery all have their place. Sleep and nutrition are the true foundations. During deep sleep, your body repairs muscle tissue, regulates hormones allowing you to recover! Proper nutrition replenishes energy and provides the protein your muscles need to rebuild stronger.
No amount of foam rolling replaces what your body does naturally when you give it the fuel and rest it needs. Prioritise the basics and your performance will follow.
