Just a lil shoutout to the man himself for delivering a bloody terrific performance at his most recent competition 🤝

Entered to dip our toes on the platform…
Walked away with a 9/9, platform PBs and total PBs 👀

Now I need to convince him to get on the platform again 🤣

The chaps were throwing punches in last nights class as they drop PB after PB

With an excellent Squat Double PB - 165KG
_21 Taking 185kg for a spin… Double PB but mark my words next week will see something more!!

Fighting with 162.5kg for a conventional PB

Was bullied into 205kgx3 as his previous set (Was meant to be his top) simply didn’t meet the intensity required… AND LOOK HOW WELL IT MOVED!!

And this was a big one for a few reasons!

1) PB Squat & Deadlift
2) Qualified for nationals
3) WE BROKE THE 500KG TOTAL!

This has been a work in progress for a while now… and man delivered!! A bloody beautiful performance for one of the hardest workers I know 🤝

We came into this competition with the intent of brushing off the cobwebs, and now we’ve done so we’re really working hard on building a strong foundation for continued progress (You should see how far she’s come in such a short amount of time!)

What a fantastic day for April!

The goal coming into this comp was to surpass a 300kg total… well we done that and then some 😄

PB’s across the board with a couple of near misses… we’ve taken a huge amount of info from this prep and comp and best believe we’re going to put it to good use 🤝

Bloody proud of the dedication april has shown, not just this prep but throughout the whole year!

With a HUGEEEE amount of wins going on recently at the club it’s making it very hard to keep up with posting on socials…

But these people deserve the love!! So first up we have who has been an absolute gem ever since joining our club 6 months ago!

He embodies our club values and man does he out the work in! Here he is deadlifting 170kg for 2 which is an all time best on the straight bar (We previously had him in the trap bar)… man has come on leaps and bounds with more to come!!!! (Also i’m about 95% of the way in convincing him to step onto the platform 👀)
