The first XI host Seaham Harbour today in the NEPL Premier Division. Following three shoulder operations this week, Paul Leonard will be looking for a repeat performance of his 5 wicket haul in last weeks victory at Shotley Bridge. Everyone's favourite rocket scientist, Elliot Fox, returns from whatever expedition he was on last weekend.
The Harbour will be telling Alan Mustard whether Felling are batting or bowling at approx 10.30am and the game starts at 11am, so get yourselves down for a beer or two and support the lads.
The 2nd XI get a trip to the seaside as they head down to Whitburn. Following some below par results in the league of late, it was good to see the 2nd XI come out on the right side of last nights cup tie against Philadelphia. M&S have closed down their metrocentre store today to allow Calum Wright to play cricket. The first Whitburn batter to hit him for 6 today wins a year's supply of percy pigs.
In other news, Kieron Gilmour, embarking on the worlds longest holiday, has decided he isn't leaving Mexico after all having been recruited by a local cartel. Following their win in the world cup on Thursday evening, Kieron has ripped up his NUFC season ticket and has switched allegiances to the Mexican national team. Locals are already sick of hearing his ode to Raul Jiminez at 3am - Si Senor ๐ถ โฝ๏ธ
Good luck to both teams today and most importantly, don't forget to get down the club and spend some money behind the bar!
