Joseph & Shay
Joseph and Shay both showed excellent commitment throughout the session, particularly when working on our defensive shape out of possession. They demonstrated a growing understanding of their positioning and worked hard to stay connected with teammates when defending. Their communication improved as the session progressed, helping the team remain compact and organised during game-play scenarios.
In possession, both players showed confidence when receiving the ball and looked to contribute positively to our build-up play. They were willing to create passing options for teammates and made good decisions to help the team progress through the phases. Their attitude and willingness to learn were outstanding, and there were some very encouraging moments that highlighted their development.

Elliott & Aiden
Elliott and Aiden approached the session with great focus and intensity, setting a positive example through their work ethic. Defensively, they showed a much better understanding of their roles within the team's shape, working hard to press together and maintain compactness when out of possession. Their awareness of space and positioning was particularly pleasing to see.
When building from the back and progressing possession, both players demonstrated increasing confidence on the ball. They consistently looked for passing opportunities and supported teammates well, helping the team move through the phases rather than forcing play too quickly. Their decision-making and movement improved throughout the evening, resulting in some excellent passages of play.

Jack & Harry
Jack and Harry produced a strong performance during tonight's session, showing excellent concentration and a positive attitude from start to finish. Their defensive work was particularly impressive, with both players working hard to stay disciplined in their positioning and contributing to the team's overall organisation. They communicated effectively and showed a good understanding of when to press and when to remain compact.

Going forward, both players embraced the focus on build-up play and showed confidence in possession. They were keen to receive the ball, support teammates, and make positive decisions to keep attacks flowing. As the session developed, their movement and understanding of the build-up phases became increasingly evident, helping create some very positive attacking moments for the team.

Wednesday futsal ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

huge congratulations to Adam on being named Player of the Month for April a thoroughly deserved achievement.

Adam has always been a naturally talented and skilful player who brings real quality whenever he’s on the ball. His confidence in possession, creativity, and technical ability have consistently stood out, and he has the type of talent that can make a difference in any game.

However, what has been most impressive over the last month and something that has continued strongly into May has been his attitude, determination, and commitment to improving every aspect of his game.
Rather than relying solely on his natural ability, Adam has shown a real desire to develop the side of the game that often goes unnoticed but is just as important to the team. Over recent weeks, he has worked extremely hard on his tackling, defensive responsibilities, pressing, recovery runs, and overall off-the-ball work.

The improvement in these areas has been massive and clear for everyone to see, both in training and during matches.
Adam has approached every session with a fantastic attitude and strong work ethic. He has listened carefully to coaching points, taken feedback on board, and most importantly applied it consistently. His willingness to learn and improve has been excellent, and it’s been great to see the progress he has made through hard work and dedication.

One of the biggest positives has been his growing understanding of team play and responsibility. He has shown a much greater willingness to work for the team defensively, help teammates, track runners, and contribute in all phases of the game. His energy, commitment, and work rate have become major strengths alongside the natural quality he already possesses.

Most importantly, Adam’s attitude has set a brilliant example. He has shown that talent alone is not enough, and that improvement comes from effort, consistency, and the willingness to keep learning. The progress he has made is a credit to himself and fully deserving of recognition.

Very well deserved, Adam keep up the excellent work and continue pushing yourself to improve even further.

Both players worked really well throughout the session and showed a great attitude from start to finish. They listened carefully to the coaching points and applied them well as the evening went on. Their movement off the ball improved noticeably during the Y drill, with both players starting to create better angles and support quicker after passing. There were also some really good moments of communication and passing quality, especially when the tempo increased. A strong session from both players with lots of positives to build on.

Joseph G & Harry
Joseph G and Harry brought excellent energy to the session and worked hard throughout. They responded really well to the coaching points around movement after passing and began to play with much more purpose as the drill developed. Both players showed good decision making at times and produced some sharp, well-weighted passes. It was especially pleasing to see them continue trying to play quickly while still keeping control and maintaining the flow of the drill. A very positive session with clear improvement shown.

Joseph, Elliott & Ben
All three players showed a really positive attitude and willingness to improve during the session. As the Y drill progressed, there was clear improvement in movement, support play and communication between them. They began to move the ball with better tempo and confidence, while also reacting much quicker after releasing passes. There were some excellent passing combinations and good examples of players trying to put the coaching points into practice consistently. Plenty of progress made tonight and lots to keep building on moving forward.

Wednesday futsal ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Player of the Session goes to Aiden tonight, and it was thoroughly deserved from the very first minute of the session right through to the last.

What stood out most was his attitude and willingness to learn throughout the evening. From the start, he listened carefully to every coaching point and showed a real determination to take information on board and apply it immediately during practices and small-sided activities.

Every time we stopped to discuss small adjustments or improvements, Aiden was fully engaged, asking questions, concentrating and making a genuine effort to improve the next time he stepped back into the drill.
What impressed me even more was the consistency of his effort and focus. He never switched off, continued to work hard in every practice and showed a real desire to keep getting better throughout the session. You could clearly see him trying to implement the details we spoke about, whether that was his movement, decision-making, confidence on the ball or overall work rate.

It’s also important to recognise that being one of the youngest players in the group is never easy, especially in sessions that demand high levels of concentration, intensity, movement and confidence in possession. Despite that challenge, Aiden handled himself brilliantly. He showed maturity beyond his age, stayed positive even when things were difficult and never let mistakes affect his attitude or effort.
Throughout the session he demonstrated real character, resilience and determination. He kept pushing himself, encouraged others around him and showed exactly the type of mentality we want from players in these sessions hardworking, coachable and eager to improve.

That attitude, combined with his willingness to learn and keep developing, is why he fully deserved Player of the Session tonight. Very well done, Aiden.

Their link-up play was excellent, with both showing great awareness, movement, and understanding of when to pass, move, and create space for one another.

Communication between them was also a real standout. They were encouraging each other, talking throughout the game, and showing strong teamwork both on and off the ball. In possession, they stayed calm, made smart decisions, and consistently helped the team move the ball effectively.

It was great to see the understanding and chemistry they developed during the session, and their attitude and effort set a really positive example for the rest of the group. A fully deserved achievement for both of them

Wednesday futsal ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A huge congratulations to Adam for being named Player of the Session a thoroughly deserved recognition for an excellent all-round performance. Everyone knows how much he thrives in 1v1 situations and enjoys taking players on, so it was particularly impressive to see him step outside of that comfort zone and embrace a more team-oriented, passing-focused style of play.
What stood out most was not just his technical ability, but his willingness to adapt his game for the benefit of the team. He moved the ball well, linked play intelligently, and showed great awareness in possession. That kind of flexibility and understanding is exactly the sort of development we love to see, as it demonstrates maturity, coachability, and a growing understanding of different ways to influence the game.
On top of all that, he produced a real highlight moment during the match with an absolutely brilliant overhead kick. It was one of those moments that instantly lifted the energy around the game a fantastic piece of skill, executed with confidence and flair, and something everyone watching thoroughly enjoyed.
Well done, Adam keep working hard and continuing to develop all aspects of your game!
