Another win on Wednesday 26th. The Secretaries Cup played at Lyndhurst Bowling Club, with "The Legend" winning "The Claret Jug" in a very close game 21-19. The mat being expertly positioned by the marker almost every end!

On Saturday we welcomed Deantown bowls club from Musselburgh in bonny Scotland. Regular visitors that always seem to win. But not this time! Gateshead won a close fought friendly, enjoyed by all, including the "non bowlers". A special shout out to Eddie, who played a blinder, especially in the jack throwing department, getting long Jack's off to a tee! Next year it's our turn to travel over the border, with the trophy!

The Charity Cup Final was played yesterday at Pelaw Bowling Club against Jarrow. The score was 2-2 in rinks, with Jarrow winning the cup 80-70 on points. Well done to them on the night.
