ANNUAL PRIDE BOWLING TOURNAMENT

Pelaw Community Bowling Club is delighted to be partnering with OUT North East this Sunday (21st June) to host the Pride Bowling Tournament, a true highlight of our year each summer.

Now in its third year, the tournament proudly features in OUT North East’s Summer of Pride calendar and continues to grow in energy and excitement. Teams made up of community groups, businesses and various partners, battle it out on the green to win the coveted title of Pride Community Bowling Champion.

The day is filled with laughter, conversation and friendly rivalry, bringing people together and introducing many newcomers to our club and the joys of lawn bowling.

The event also raises vital funds while strengthening community spirit. As Peter Darrant (pictured front below) CEO of OUT North East, says, “I’m thrilled to partner with Pelaw once again for this fantastic event.” We look forward to welcoming everyone along for what is always a great fun filled day.

The event officially starts at 11.30am but we always need and welcome volunteers to come along earlier (around 10.30am) to help set the awnings etc up, put bowls equipment in place, tidy up, and support with any general activities that help things run smoothly.

Why not come along and see for yourself, or help out!
