⛳️ Day 1 of Maintenance Week at Falkirk Golf Club
A productive first day for Steven and the Greens Team as Maintenance Week gets underway.
Today’s work included:
🌱 All greens aerated with the ProCore using 12mm tines to a depth of 75mm.
🌱 All greens verti-cut in two directions to a depth of 5mm, removing a significant amount of organic matter from the playing surfaces.
🌱 The 1st and 2nd greens were top-dressed and brushed in, giving the team a head start for tomorrow.
A special thank you to our two volunteer members who gave up their time today to assist the Greens Team, helping to blow and clear debris from the surfaces. Your help is very much appreciated and makes a real difference. 👏
Tomorrow, the team will continue with top-dressing, brushing and rolling all the greens, alongside applying amendment to the drain lines on the 3rd and 9th.
A great start to an important week of work on the course. ⛳️
