Camelon Community Sports Hub

Camelon Community Sports Hub Camelon Community Sport Hub aims to work with and support local sporting and physical activity groups in the Camelon and Tamfourhill areas.

Camelon Community Sport Hub is an "area based" or "geographical" Hub, which means it is not based in one club or facility. It covers the whole of the Camelon and Tamfourhill areas and looks to support all sporting clubs and physical activity groups in the area. Following the 5 guiding principles of:

Growth in participation
Understanding Community Need
Supporting Community Leadership
Offering a R

ange of Sports
Ensuring all the Right People are Working Together

We are aiming to work with not just the clubs and physical activity groups but the people, to see how we can provide a range of participating as well as non participating opportunities in sport. If you would like more information, have any ideas on how to develop sport and physical activity in the Camelon area, or would like to get involved in volunteering please drop our page a message. Or you can get in touch with the Community Sport Hub Officer on [email protected].

Camelon Community Sport Hub continues to support our local community.

Recently we provided Bantaskin Primary, Easter Carmuirs Primary and Carmuirs Primary with "Legacy Kit" bags.

The bags each contain a variety of sporting equipment to help keep them active, fit and healthy.

The schools are shown here on the pitch at Camelon Juniors Football Club with a banner which will be displayed outside their school!

Starting this week with a post promoting one of our longest running groups. Lets Talk Table Tennis! Running for over 5 years now the group has grown from strength to strength due to the hard work of George and Mando!

The group meet several times a week for a game of Table Tennis as well as some fruity banter!

Another fine example of community coming together to get fit, have fun and socialise.
