7 tips to help you get in shape and start the year off right 😊

1. Set a daily/weekly step goal
2. Cut alcohol consumption down
3. Include a protein source with each meal
4. Strength train 3x per week
5. Count calories
6. Drink 2-3 litres off water per day.
7. Most importantly, Have patience and stay consistent. Rome wasn't built in a day.

Small changes done consistently over a period off time add up. It's what you do on average that counts 💪

✨️✨️ New years Nutrition tips ✨️✨️

A few tips for anyone going into the new year looking to lose a bit of weight 😀

1. Calories in/Calories out
Too many people just take for granted they are eating well but do not know what they are actually consuming. The only way to lose weight is to consume less calories than you're body is burning off. Work in a small deficit for a prolonged period of time and just watch your weight drop.

2. No food should be off limits
There is no such thing as good foods and bad foods. Too many people cut out "bad foods" they enjoy when dieting and go super strict. The best diet is one you can stick Too. If you can't see yourself doing it in a years time it isn't for you. Just work foods you like into your calories for the day/week and aslong as you are in a deficit you are fine and this will make your diet much easier to stick Too.

3. 80/20
A good ratio to use is the 80/20 ratio..this is where your diet consists of 80% of nutrionally good whole foods such as meats, fish, rice, pasta, potato and 20% of foods you enjoy such as small snacks etc.
This will help you stick to your diet easier as you aren't restricting yourself completely and are still able to consume things you enjoy.

4. Include a source of protein with each meal.
Protein has a very high satiety effect, meaning it will help you stay full between meals. This may help increase the time before you need to eat again, helping keep calorie intake under control. Also eating protein with each meal is a great way to preserve muscle mass when dieting.

Hi all

Super excited to have finally got my personal training Business set up!!

I am very happy to announce that I will be operating out of "Powerhouse Gym" Enniskillen. A truly fantastic gym with everything you could possibly ask for in it.
I will be taking on a limited number of clients as I start out in order to allow me to give each one my full attention.

Over the next few days I will post what sort of packages and programmes I will be offering, there will be something to suit everyone without a doubt.

Really excited to get this up and running and help people achieve some fantastic results.
