Week 1 of my personal challenge.
Here’s the honest truth.
I’m 40 years old. Dad of two sets of twins. Running a business. And I’ve just publicly committed to getting back into the shape I was in my 20s using the exact same VITAL Framework I give every single one of my clients.
No special treatment. No shortcuts. Same plan. Same rules.
Here’s how week one actually went.
✅ Sessions — 2 out of 3. Not perfect. Done.
✅ Steps — 10,000+ for 6 out of 7 days.
✅ Calories tracked — every single day. Not perfectly. But tracked.
✅ Weight — 86kg down to 84.2kg.
✅ Energy — genuinely brilliant all week.
Was it a perfect week? No.
Did I miss a session? Yes.
Were the calories perfect every day? No.
And yet
Nearly 2kg down. Energy up. Momentum building.
You don’t need a perfect week to make progress.
You need a consistent enough week.
80% done beats 100% planned every single time.
A lot of that 1.8kg will be water weight and I know that. I’m not celebrating a number. I’m celebrating the fact that I showed up for 7 days, built the habit back, and feel better than I did this time last week.
That’s week one.
Week two same again. Just 1% better across the board.
Not a new plan. Not a dramatic overhaul.
Just the same simple system done slightly better than last week.
That’s how this works. That’s how it always works.

Because if this framework works for a 40 year old dad of two sets of twins with a business to run and a life that never slows down
