🏏 **Weekend Round-Up – Saturday 13th June**
A mixed day for Sutton CC as the 2nd XI claimed local derby bragging rights over Haddenham, while the 1st XI suffered defeat against Fen Ditton.
💚💛 **1st XI**
After winning the toss and electing to field, Sutton produced a disciplined bowling display to restrict Fen Ditton to 180-9 from their 40 overs.
Stephen Tuck (3-22), Craig Faux (3-22) and Vineeth Vini (2-30) were the pick of the bowlers, giving Sutton every chance at the halfway stage.
Unfortunately, Sutton's chase never got going and despite efforts from Stephen Tuck (16), Craig Faux (10) and Duncan Turner (9), the side were dismissed for 66.
🏏 **2nd XI – Local Derby Victory**
The 2nd XI put in a superb all-round performance to secure local bragging rights with a convincing 9-wicket victory over neighbours Haddenham.
Lou Herselman led the bowling attack with an excellent 3-17, while Tim Conquest (2-19) and Kaiden Grady (2-14) helped bowl Haddenham out for 119.
Sutton then made light work of the chase. Paul Robinson anchored the innings brilliantly with an unbeaten 55, while James Short struck an aggressive 37* from 30 balls as Sutton raced to victory in just 17.3 overs.
