Cat and Rachel did the Eagles proud representing the Club at the LT Feast today 🦅💙👏🏼

There was lots of fun had by all, with the kids testing their skills in their Top Bins challenge ⚽️ and enjoying plenty of treats from the lollipop game 🍭🍬.

Together, they raised £74 for the Club, including a generous contribution from the lovely staff at Howdens Ely. 😊

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, took part and supported them throughout the day. What a fantastic community event! 💙🦅 Shout out to Little Thetford Feast for arranging a fabulous event 👏🏼

Big shout out to our U9 Whites for today’s efforts at the Outwell Tournament. 👏⚽️

The boys played their hearts out and won every game in the group stages without conceding a single goal. Their winning streak sadly came to an end in the semi-final after a late set-piece goal, but the lads should be incredibly proud of themselves. They deserved more after playing some fantastic football throughout the day.

Thankfully, nothing a bouncy castle, ice cream and chips couldn’t solve! 🍦🍟🏰

A massive shout out to all of the players and coaches for their hard work and commitment. And thank you to all of our parents and siblings for their fantastic support from the sidelines. You were brilliant, as always.

Tournament Sunday 🦅⚽

Three different tournaments, three different stories, and plenty to be proud of!

U11s – Mildenhall Tournament
The boys flew through the group stage unbeaten, showing some fantastic football along the way. Unfortunately, their run came to an end in the semi-final against the eventual tournament winners. A brilliant performance from the team – well done, boys!

U9 Blues – Willingham Tournament
The Blues made a strong start with some excellent wins against tough opposition and finished 5th in their group. There was plenty of fun, football, and treats throughout the day, leaving lots of happy Eagles!

U9 Whites – Hinchingbrooke United Tournament
An outstanding group-stage campaign saw the boys go unbeaten without conceding a single goal. A strong semi-final performance secured their place in the final, where they narrowly lost 1-0 to a private academy side. A fantastic effort and a tournament to be proud of!

Today was our End of Season Awards, and what a special day it has been.

As we looked around the room, seeing the whole club together, we couldn’t help but reflect on how far this club has come. What stands out most isn’t the trophies or the results, but the friendships, the support the boys show one another, and the sense of belonging that has been created. Watching them grow over the years, both on and off the pitch, has been one of the greatest privileges of our lives.

Today was also an emotional day for us personally, as we stepped down from our roles as Chair and Club Secretary but will continue to be with the club.

When we started this club, we had a vision of creating more than just a football team. We wanted a club built on strong values, community spirit, respect and support for every player and family involved. Looking around today, we can honestly say that those roots are now firmly embedded within the club. The culture, ethos and sense of togetherness that we hoped to create are now part of its DNA, and that is something we are incredibly proud of.

We would like to thank every player, parent, coach, volunteer and supporter who has been part of this journey. You have all played a role in making the club what it is today.

As we hand over the reins to Jonny and Sam Wallace, we do so with complete confidence. We know they will be fantastic custodians of the club and will continue to build on everything that has been achieved while remaining true to the values that matter most.

There will be lots of photos to follow of our amazing players and trophy winners, but for now we are simply taking a moment to reflect on what has been a truly lovely day and an incredible journey.
