What a weekend for friends and clients this weekend!! ๐Ÿฅ‡ ๐ŸŠโ€โ™€๏ธ ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ ๐Ÿšด
First up. and Lee-Anne taking part in the Brewdog run. Lee-Anne from Dyce, and Wendy in from Newmachar. Both setting themselves the challenge earlier in the year, and coming in under target! ๐ŸŽฏ Huge congratulations to you both ladies!
The annual Ellon Pedalcar race was also on Saturday, with clients and alongside the rest of the team, retaining their title ๐Ÿ‘‘ Well done gents!
Where do I start with ! Bolton 70.3, unfinished business for Sandra, after breaking her collarbone at the event last year, there was an axe to grind, and a score to settle! Settle it she did. Nailing her swim, her cycle, and the gruelling 13.1 miles. I think her picture tells the story of her day, and how it went. You are now an Ironman! Massive thanks needs to go to the crew, logistics co-ordinator, and bike mechanic . He clocked up a massive amount of steps, and quite possibly a few more grey hairs getting to the start, and the finish line yesterday. A well earned beer was his reward for all his hard work ๐Ÿบ
Take a bow everyone. When so much goes into the training, the prep, and the logistics for events. Itโ€™s amazing when it all comes together. Proud of every one of you. Rest and recover well all!

Medal Monday ๐Ÿฅ‡
Sometimes itโ€™s best to let someone articulate their achievements themselves, and today is one of those days.
Huge congratulations to for successfully dipping her toe into the triathlon world yesterday at the Grantown Tri! A big step out of her comfort zone, but as she says, she swam, cycled and ran her little heart out to become a Triathlete!! So chuffed for you G, and to everyone who took part on Sunday. Rest and recover well all!

This weekend saw another round of local events ๐Ÿฅณ
Saturday, the 5th annual Tay and Ram 6, and 12 hour races. The lads put so much effort into planning this event, and once again. They arranged the sunshine! My client George toeing the line, racking up 18 miles on the route, before making the sensible decision to pull up, after a knee ni**le made it uncomfortable to continue. Rest up George, before the next challenge later in the year!
Sunday saw the Run Garioch set of events, always well supported, a closed road set of races, with plenty support along the route. Friends and client Glynis and Bob taking on the undulating half marathon course, props to Glynis for the photo of the weekend ๐Ÿ˜
Huge congratulations to them both for strong efforts, even with the hills later in the race, Glynis finishing the last 2 miles as her fastest on the course ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ Rest and recover well all!

With all the excitement of big events the last couple weeks, itโ€™s great to see a local event so well supported โœŠ๐Ÿผ
Peterhead Athletes Club annual Longside Loop, and junior mile took place on Saturday, clients and took part in the 10 mile, and daughter took part in the junior mile ๐Ÿฅณ Lesley coming well under her target finish time, and wee Meia coming in in 6th place! A warm day, but the spread and cakes after assisted in everyoneโ€™s refuelling! Huge congratulations to everyone who took part on Saturday, rest and recover well!

London Marathon. Itโ€™s a bucket list race for so many runners, getting through the illusive ballot is a challenge in itself, but on Sunday, my client Jayne ticked it off her personal bucket list โœ”๏ธ
Training for spring marathons is always tough, the lions share of your training done in the cold, dark winter months, then on race day. Itโ€™s the hottest day of the year โ˜€๏ธ The heat didnโ€™t disappoint, nor did the crowds, but Jayne completed her goal, huge congratulations to you Jayne, your hard work in the studio paid off, and just look at that medal ๐Ÿฅ‡ ๐Ÿ˜
Congratulations to everyone who toed the line Sunday. Rest and recover well.

Medal Monday ๐Ÿฅ‡
Running seems to have dominated the feed for the last few MMโ€™s but Sunday saw one of the first cycle sportives of 2026 take place ๐Ÿšด
Starting in the heart of Inverness, the 66 mile, closed road route, travels down the west side of Loch Ness, through Drumnadrochit, taking the challenging route back into Inverness.
Clients and friends George, Sandra, Stuart and Mark all set off early Sunday, the weather Gods were kind, in that the wind didnโ€™t appear, but still a bitterly cold day. Everyone returned safely, having all had successful days in the saddle, first sportive of 2026 complete, and a test of the fitness for future events through the year! Rest and recover well all! ๐Ÿšด ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ

Medal Monday ๐Ÿฅ‡
Saturday saw 6 of us travel down to Manchester for the marathon. Itโ€™s grown hugely since our last trip in 2019, with entrants tipping at 42,000 ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ
A well organised event, even with the numbers, we left the wind at home, with near perfect race conditions.
My client Jen had a goal of aiming for a good for age time for London, working in the studio using race specific strength work, plyometrics since the start of the year, which paid off. Walking away with a 1 min 8 second pb, giving her the opportunity to apply later in the year ๐Ÿฅณ
Huge congratulations also to friends Leigh, Sarah and Catriona, who all completed strong and confident races! Special mention goes to Catriona, who has joined the marathon club!
The medal is a reminder of all the hard work leading up to race day. Rest and recover well all!

Medal Monday ๐Ÿฅ‡
Challenges are great, they give us a goal. They keep us motivated, driven, especially over the winter months.
My client Lesley has set herself a big goal. 4 marathons. To celebrate her 4 decades 4๏ธโƒฃ0๏ธโƒฃ ๐ŸŽ‚ ๐Ÿฅณ
Challenge number 1 complete. A cracking pb yesterday at Zurich marathon. ๐Ÿ›Ž๏ธ
Lesley said the route was well supported; with a great atmosphere, and the added bonus of being a predominantly flat route ๐Ÿฅณ
Lesley puts a huge amount of effort into her training, having completed her first Hyrox just recently too, the hours in the gym, the studio, and out on the roads paying massive dividends on a fantastic race! Huge congratulations to you rest and recover well before challenge number 2!

Medal Monday ๐Ÿฅ‡ itโ€™s always nice to travel and try out new events. Itโ€™s even nicer when they fit in around a scheduled long run ๐Ÿ˜‚ Different scenery. A race atmosphere, and copious amounts of cake and great coffee at the finish ๐Ÿฐ
This weekend saw friends and clients and Sarah travel down to Edinburgh for the 20 along the Forth. A brilliant event, well organised, well supported, even if the lumpy course was lumpier than expected ๐Ÿ˜‚ and Sarah are nearing the end of their training block for the Manchester marathon, so the race distance fitted perfectly. George wanting to test himself over the distance, and all parties happy with the road trip somewhere different! All put in strong efforts, the sun shone, the wind was a breeze rather than a gale, and the views, just stunning ๐ŸŒ ๐ŸŒž ๐ŸŒŠ
Absolutely one theyโ€™d all recommend! Congratulations to everyone who toed the line this weekend, and to those who took on the local Beach bash! Rest and recover well!

Hyrox!! Itโ€™s grown massively in popularity over the last couple of years, a mix of strength, endurance, grit and a bucketload of determination ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ
My client wanted to take part in one to test herself just that little bit more ๐Ÿค๐Ÿผ ๐Ÿ˜‚ Sheโ€™s been working hard in Hyrox specific classes, and with me in the studio, to help compliment her Hyrox sessions. Today. She completed her first singles Hyrox. Definitely not for the faint of heart, or for anyone who doesnโ€™t like burpees ๐Ÿ˜‚
HUGE congratulations to her for completing her challenge, and for still smiling at the end! Proud of your determination, your work ethic, and your strength! Rest and recover well!
