Good evening everyone
We have cancelled all lessons again this evening.

The first photo is the advice we are given from the A.B.R.S. About hot weather but we actually we always do our own assessments knowing our horses so well.

We consider 30 degrees is too hot for our ponies to work. So we will postpone lessons. We also take in factors of humidity/breeze. Shade in arenas and comfort for staff.

We will always keep lessons slower or go on shaded walk outs around the farm if temperatures go above mid 20s and make sure ponies are cool and showered after each session.

Horse’s welfare is always before income. (I’m so lucky to have the best boss who backs my judgement) and thank you to my incredible staff still working in the heat to keep the horses cool and comfortable.

If we close please try to book an alternative lesson. Have an extra summer activity or support us in other ways.

If it gets too hot just sit it the water containers! 😂

Good morning. We have taken the decision to close again today. Horse welfare is our top priority. It feels cooler right now but the forecast is getting hot again.

Our brilliant, dedicated staff are still working in this heat to keep the ponies cool and comfortable.
