Nineteen years ago, I opened my first studio as a dancer and a teacher. Yesterday, I unlocked the doors to our brand-new studio as a business owner. đź’•
Back then, I had zero business experience; I learned it all on the fly. I didn’t realize that being a studio owner meant wearing every hat imaginable—marketing manager, cleaner, accountant, strategist, and so much more. I just dug in, learned, and did my best.
I remember being told at school that I should consider a “proper job.” I was never going to fit into the box they expected me to choose for my career. I had passion, drive, and the unshakable confidence that I could make this dream work.
Today, I stand here proud. Yes, I am still a dancer and a teacher, but I am also a damn good business owner. I am loving every step of leading a team and watching this business grow.
Never let anyone tell you that you can’t do something.🥹
