Welcome to our 11+ Tuesday open class 🤩

Some of these students haven’t had any dance background at all and to learn this tonight I am so proud of them all! 🫶🏽

✨ 5 YEARS OF PROSPECT DANCE ✨

5 years ago today, I opened the doors to our dance school, Prospect Dance. Today marks 5 years of being self employed, a business owner, and everything else that comes with it! 🥹

This time 5 years ago, I went back to work with my 5 month old baby in tow, with absolutely no idea what the future would look like. The one thing I did know was that I had a passion for teaching, something I’ve always loved and always wanted to continue doing.

Fast forward 5 years and we now have a very nearly fully booked dance school, over 130 amazing students, and we are just weeks away from performing in LAS VEGAS! 😱✨

I’ve actually owned a dance school for over 10 years now, and I can honestly say it is by no means easy. There are challenges, long days, lots of juggling and plenty of moments where you question yourself. But the highs make every single bit of it worth it. ❤️

I’m so incredibly grateful for every student who walks through our doors, every parent who supports them, and every single person who has supported me over the last 10 years.

Here’s to 5 years of Prospect Dance, 10+ years of being a dance school owner, and hopefully many more exciting years to come! 🥂✨
