βΉοΈ Tomorrow (20 August), the second stage of The Tour Of Britain Women races through and we've got all the road closure details you'll need.
The following temporary road closures will be in place in Clitheroe to allow the race to go ahead and for the safety of riders and spectators.

Castle Street
Market Place
Wellgate
Church Brow
Yorke Street
King Lane
King Street closed above New Market Street, so access to Market car park available.
π 9am
Woone Lane (from Eshton Terrace)
Moor Lane
Parson Lane
π Midday
Woone Lane, Moor Lane and Parson Lane re-open
π 2pm
All other road closures lifted
Public pay-and-display car parks in the town centre will remain open as usual.
Roads will be closed for their entire length unless otherwise stated.
π§ Once the race starts the police will be using a rolling road closure system to allow the riders and support vehicles to progress around the borough.
Motorcycle outriders will hold traffic at junctions until the last vehicle in the race convoy has passed, the road then re-opens behind the race.
Most roads on the route will be affected for around 30 to 40 minutes as the race passes through.
