You keep telling yourself you’ll start being consistent with your training, but then another week goes by and your trainers haven’t budged

This is the situation most of my clients come to me in

They’re struggling not only because of low energy and motivation, but also because they’ve not got the right structure in place to actually keep up with their workouts around life

When you stop your internal battle over being perfect, you can start taking action

You don’t find motivation, you can literally create it

Because when you have a plan that supports your goals, your schedule, and your body, you can actually stay on top of it

And when you do the things you promised yourself you would, you build confidence in yourself

And when you start building that confidence, and see what you can achieve when you stay consistent…

That creates the motivation you so desperately crave.

Once you learn that you can actually find some enjoyment, and fit exercise in around your life (and treat yourself with a lil coffee afterwards), it becomes far easier to stay on top of it all

If you’re tired of starting over and want to actually make this fitness thing stick this time around, I’m currently taking on clients.

Drop me a message with the word ‘COACHING’ and I’ll send you the details on how I can help🌸

Quick wins for you to use this week to get you back on track!

Building momentum with health and fitness habits is often the hardest part, and we get overwhelmed because we believe the answer is to dive head first and rebuild our entire lives and schedule to become the healthy gal

But when you’re already procrastinating and verging on burnout, we’ve got to start small!

Whenever I start with a new client, I give them MAXIMUM 3 simple goals for week one.

We don’t go changing everything at once because that’s never going to last. We ease into things slow and steady, because that always wins the race.

For help with getting your own health and fitness back on track, message me ‘COACHING’ and let’s chat🌸

Should we be defending extreme thinness?

There is waaaaaay too much nuance to fit this conversation into one video

We are all different shapes and sizes

Some people are naturally thinner

Others are more naturally curvy

So where do we draw the line of where we raise concern and where we don’t?

If someone is having to eat in an extremely restrictive way in order to keep their job, surely that should be a red flag?

Why are we not intervening and holding these companies accountable for the toxic standards and culture they’re promoting?

And when even the smallest sizes of the clothes these women are modelling don’t even fit them and are hanging off their bodies, is that not a sign for things to change?

A few years ago I feel we started turning a corner when it came to improving diversity among clothing models

But this year I feel we’ve slipped right back down the mountain back to square one

It’s a complicated topic and a hard one to talk about, but I do think we need to be looking past the individuals, and more to the standards being set by those higher up.

If you want food, fitness and mindset advice that’s not based on fitting your body to societies mould, make sure to follow me

What are your thoughts? 💭🤔

These kinds of topics are never straightforward

There are sooooooo many factors when it comes to what and how people eat

And it’s hard to even begin to condense my thoughts into a post like this

So tell me in the comments your thoughts⬇️

When does ‘discipline’ become obsession?

Where do we draw the line?

A lot of influencer content may look like elite discipline, but is it actually disordered and obsessive behaviours?

It comes down to the intent behind it

Are you choosing to do something that aligns with your goals?
(meaning you could happily accept not choosing to do that same thing if it made more sense)

Or are you so fixated on doing something that you MUST do it?
(meaning you would force yourself to do it regardless, and it would be occupying your thoughts constantly)

The former falls more into the discipline category
The latter comes closer to obsessive behaviours

They may look the same from the outside, but that’s because others can’t hear the thoughts going around in your head

Constantly thinking about calories, when you’re going to do your next workout, how you’re going to fit everything in because it’s not an option to simply skip a run for a brunch with friends…

That lack of control can lead to anxiety, low mood, self sabotage, feeling of failure and more

This is something I support clients with

I help them to remove pressures around fitness and find more freedom in life

For more information on how I can help you do the same, message me ‘COACHING’

You know whats up

The beloved reminder comes through from your app telling you your period is about to start

Suddenly everything makes sense

The hunger, tiredness, and wanting to throw someone out the window for breathing too loudly (or chewing, for that matter)

The ‘hormone balancing’ gurus will probably tell you to eat nothing but butternut squash and 90% dark chocolate, but let’s be real

Life’s not that deep for most of us okay?

Yes, eat your vegetables and protein

Fill your plate with colour, variety and nutrients

Move your body and get your sleep

But don’t forget to feed those lil happy hormones in your brain too, especially if it gets you through the absolutely foul mood that comes with the luteal phase(or at least for me anyway)

Personally, my lil happy hormones love to feed off cinnamon rolls and chocolate, how about you?🍫
