This week we are using the small handweights... Absolutely love love love using these.

Did you know that from around age 30, we naturally begin to lose muscle mass? The figures are scary... eek

📉 Most adults lose around 3–5% of their muscle mass each decade, and the rate of loss can increase as we get older.

By our 50s:
➡️ Muscle mass can decline by 1–2% per year
➡️ Strength declines even faster

By our 60s:
➡️ Muscle loss can reach up to 3% per year
➡️ Everyday activities can start to feel more challenging if we don't actively maintain our strength

So grab your weights people!

I’ve been thinking about success today.

Not Pilates for once... success. Don't worry, I'll be back to Pilates tomorrow!

What does it actually mean? How do we define it? Is it money? Time? Health? Freedom? Achievement? Having a flat tummy?

I’m not sure there’s one right answer.

For me, success is having time and good health. For someone else, it might be having loads of money, a thriving business, or something completely different. And that's okay.

We’re all different.

Growing up, I was surrounded by the idea that money was the ultimate measure of success. While I understand why people think like that it left it's mark.

So if you're doubting yourself or feeling like you're not successful enough, remember this:

Just like beauty, success is in the eye of the beholder.

You don't have to measure your life against someone else's definition. You get to decide what success looks like for you.

Because true success isn't about meeting someone else's expectations.

It's about being true to yourself.

And that's where real happiness is found.

I love getting feedback like this about my classes.

I know how scary it can be starting a new class and I realise it is a first big step. I will make sure that you are always put at ease just like Louise was.

There is always an option for every level whether you are beginner or have been doing pilates more regularly.

When was the last time that you had a good belly laugh?

In my classes we laugh all the time. Why? Because life's too short to be serious all the time.

Exercise should be fun. Life should be fun and somewhere/ somehow i feel that we forgot this.

So go on have a giggle it's good for your soul.
