The 14th and final round of the winter league was played yesterday, in some challenging conditions. The winner on the day was Gary Archibald with a good score of 36 points, followed by Kevin Young on 35 points.

Our overall winner for this year was Stuart Mungall who managed an impressive 207.46 points, he was very closely followed by Scott McAulley on 206.03 points, well done on your very impressive golf over the last few months. The rest of the top 5 was made up by Liam Nisbet, Andy Baxter and John Baillie.

The turnout for this year's winter league was brilliant once again. We thank you all for your support over the last few months, and we hope you have all enjoyed some competitive golf over the off season.

Round 13 of the winter league was played yesterday, Scott McAulley was the winner on the day with a score of 36 points Beating Stuart Mungall and Bobby Flannigan with a better back nine score. Stuart Mungall maintains his position at the top of the leaderboard with Scott McAulley hot on his heels. Next week will be the final round and it looks to be an exciting finish!

A smaller field yesterday with a wet course and windy conditions resulting in only 13 scores being returned. Sean Ferguson took full advantage of this with his excellent score of 40 points enough to take 1st place on the day. Another good score from Scott McAulley saw him pip Graham Bells impressive 63 scratch to 2nd place by virtue of a better inward half. Stuart Mungall returns to the top of the Leaderboard and Scott McAulley jumps up to 3rd.

Round 11 of the Winter League took place yesterday -22nd February. The weather was very mixed over the day with some heavy showers making play fairly challenging. Scott McAulley came out on top with 38 points just pipping Stuart Mungall on the better inward half. John Baillie hangs onto the lead in the overall league although only by a tiny margin.

A kind day of weather yesterday resulted in another low week of scoring. John Baillie's 43 Points pipped Martin O'Hara by a point to be this weeks winner. John also moves back to the top of leaderboard with a narrow lead of only .44 over Liam Nisbet. Well done guys!

Round 9 of the Winter League took place yesterday - 1st February. The weather was kind and the scoring from the lower handicapped players was very impressive. Craig Bell came out on top with 39 points pipping Andy Baxter and Stuart Mungall by a point. All change at the top of the League table as Andy Baxter jumps into top spot, closely followed by Liam Nisbet and Stuart Mungall.
As the course is bearing up well we have decided to continue the league every week through February. Next round is Sunday 8th February.

Round 8 of the Winter League to place on Sunday 25th January. Winner on the day was Scott McAulley with an excellent 40 points. Runner up was Sean McKechnie on 38 points. A 3rd place finish for John Baillie was enough to see him reach the top of the league table. It is incredibly tight at the top 7 players separated by only 14 points. Next round will be played on Sunday 1st February.

Round 7 of the Winter League took place on Sunday 18th January. The weather was fairly kind for January. Winner on the day was Alan White with 36 points, Bobby Henney was runner up pipping Liam Nisbet and 2 others on the better inward half on 35 points. It's all getting very tight at the top of the leaderboard with 10 players within 20 points of the lead.

Round 6 of the Winter League was played yesterday, David Fairfield won on the day with great score of 39 points, John Mushet still leads the order of merit with Alan McCrossan and Andy Baxter hot on his heels. The next round will be played on the 11th of January.
