Some information for our Athletes going over the World Cup.

📢 Important Clarification for Participants of the ITF World Cup 2026

Following questions received from competitors and coaches, the ITF would like to clarify the role of the Medical Fitness Certificate and the Medical Background Sheet for the World Cup in Benidorm.

✅ Medical Fitness Certificate

Athletes are strongly encouraged to undergo a sports fitness examination with their physician and obtain a Medical Fitness Certificate prior to competing.

Every athlete or legal guardian confirms with their signature on the "Declaration of Consent and Data Protection" that they have a medical fitness certificate. And for the ITF World Cup 2026, this certificate may be presented during registration, but it is not a mandatory requirement for participation and athletes will not be excluded from competition if they do not present one.

✅ Medical Background Sheet

Athletes are strongly encouraged to complete and carry their Medical Background Sheet at all times during the event.

This document contains important medical information, such as allergies, medications or pre-existing conditions, and can assist event medical personnel in providing prompt and appropriate treatment should medical attention be required.

Both measures form part of the ITF's ongoing commitment to athlete welfare and safe competition.

Well done Shaun 👏🏼

Joined our Adult Kickboxing class at the start of the year after watching his son progress through the ranks last year.

Completed his first grading the start of May, taking his first steps to black belt and then finishing off the month entering his first competition! 👏🏼 ❤️

Giving away 15Kgs he stepped up into -75 and left with a well earned bronze ❤️🥉

WKU Scottish International Open 2026 🥊

Well done to our team of 13 competitors who took part in this weekend’s WKU Scottish International Open. We had some competitors stepping on the mats for the first time, some still in the early stages of developing competition experience and some of our more seasoned competitors.

In terms of medals the team returned with:

🥇 4 Gold Medals
🥈 4 Silver Medals
🥉 7 Bronze Medals

Medals are always a bonus, but what is most important is stepping on the mats to challenge yourself. Whether you medalled or not you gained valuable experience that will help you in training to continue to improve your skills. 👊

A big thank you to our coaches, parents and supporters at the competition. 🙏
