Then & Now. ❤️

Having grown up in this beautiful wee village, I remember this shop as a chippy, then a butcher’s, and of course, a bike shop. Watching the Gala Day parade march proudly past brought back so many great memories from my childhood in Aberfoyle.

As a young boy, I spent countless hours flying around the streets and trails on my bike, always dreaming of one day running a bike shop and café. When the opportunity came up last year, so many friends told me I had to go for it. Fast forward a year since those first conversations, and it’s all happening. I honestly can’t put into words how much I’m loving every minute of it!

A huge thank you to everyone who has mucked in along the way, and to everyone who continues to support us by coming back to the shop time and time again. We’ll keep doing what we’re doing, keep listening, keep improving, and keep bringing fresh ideas to Aberfoyle Bike Co.

Feeling incredibly grateful today to be part of this wonderful wee village. 😊🚲☕️

🍕 PIZZA FEVER 🍕

Today from 3.30pm at Aberfoyle Bike Co.

To celebrate the opening of the Aberfoyle Bike Park, we’re firing up our first ever Pizza Fever. Expect slow-fermented, hand-stretched, stone-baked pizzas by Hugh Millard, cold soft drinks, tasty dips, tiramisu, good tunes and a cracking atmosphere.

Heading to the bike park? Swing by beforehand for a coffee and something to eat, then head down to the opening ceremony for 1pm.

Everyone’s welcome. No booking required—just turn up hungry.

Kicking off at 3:30pm rather than 5:30pm, as mentioned in our previous post.

The bike park opening ceremony starts at 1pm, so get down to Aberfoyle Bike Co. beforehand for a caffeine kick, a sourdough morning roll, or one of our giant filled croissants.

Sunday brings the Pairc Ride in the morning. Think parkrun… but way better, because it’s on bikes. 🤭🚲

Then it’s the Aberfoyle Gala Day! We’ve got a few raffle prizes in store so get down there and get yer lemony snicket's 🎫

Life’s good in the Foyle. 😎

Saturday 25th July is shaping up to be a huge day in Aberfoyle.

The long-awaited Aberfoyle Bike Park officially opens to the public thanks to . Expect an incredible new pump track, a flowing jump line and a brilliant day of riding for all ages and abilities.

The official opening gets underway at 1pm.
If you’re heading along, swing by beforehand to get fuelled up with great coffee, rolls, giant filled croissants, cakes and tasty softies. We’ll also have a selection of free demo bikes available for people to try throughout the day.

Then, as the riding winds down, the fun continues...

🔥 Pizza Fever lands at Aberfoyle Bike Co.

Join us out the back of the shop for an evening of pizza, good music and great company. Acclaimed chef Hugh Millard will be serving up fresh, handmade pizzas, alongside plenty of tunes, cold drinks and good vibes.

Everyone is welcome, whether you’ve been riding all day or just fancy joining us for pizza.

A day in the life at Aberfoyle Bike Co. 🚴☕️

French bikepackers 🤝 Scottish breakfast rolls

This morning we introduced these lovely French lads to black pudding and tattie scones. They each ordered a bacon, black pudding, tattie scone and egg roll… then came back for a second because they loved them that much! 😄

Proper fuel for a bikepacking trip across Scotland. 🚲🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
