Listen to the latest Inspired and Active podcast, I talk about coming out of January with a clear focus for the coming year. It is an excellent time for everybody to start reflecting and looking at what's ahead of you in your business.

There is an essential process that I would advise, reflecting over years of running companies, that you have to set down in January and I strongly suggest you have these in place.

1. Reflect 2. Simplify your strategy 3, Play game 4. Set your 90 day targets 5. Measure your success 6. Believe in yourself.

RANT: SCOTRAIL - WHEN WILL YOU IMPROVE??
We are all trying to encourage our children to get outdoors and be active and then totally obstructive action from our national train network just gets me annoyed. The boys travelling with their bike to Dunkeld to practice for an event coming up were thrown off the train with only one stop to go because of the bikes. They had travelled for an hour all okay and then the 16 years olds were told to get off at a stop 40 miles from home and told there was no longer space - ONLY ONE STOP and 20 minutes to go. Why can the train network not support bikes and encourage our kids to travel end enjoy these activities?

What we used to do and what we do now is different and to keep motivated and inspired to take on challenges is something which seems an eternity ago.

We need to keep fit and there are many virtual challenges out there to take part in.

We are planning a Geo challenge to get moving and outside in the winter during the lockdown.

Your Full System Fitness is essential for all of us to consider and practice but especially in our children and young people. We often consider fitness is about how far we can run or how long we can cycle before we fell tired. This is an indicator but it is important we start to consider the whole system which includes our body, mind and everyday environment to really make sure we are the best we can be.

Dynamic Intelligence
Self Regulation

It is these three areas combined which provide your Full System Fitness and putting a development schedule together helps us and those we support to develop.
