🚴♂️ Shout-out and a little advert for a great cause! 🚴♀️
Hope you don’t mind us reaching out! With just one month to go, we’re getting really excited to welcome riders to our first ever Aberdeen Samaritans Charity Sportive – Sam’s Ride North!
We’ve got three stunning but challenging routes to choose from – 26, 51, and 102 miles – so there’s something for everyone:
🔹 26 miles Suie Scorpion – Ideal for those who cycle regularly, this scenic route follows the River Don and offers spectacular views over to Tap O’ North as you rise up the Suie.
🔹 51 miles Suie Serpent – up into the wild country of the Buck before passing the Tap O’Noth
🔹 102 miles Lecht and Suie Monster – A real test of endurance with over 2,000m of climbing through the majestic Cairngorms National Park, including the Suie, Cabrach, and Lecht climbs.
All routes are fully supported with:
✅ Electronic timing
✅ Feed stations and friendly marshals
✅ First aid cover
✅ Finishers’ medal
✅ A Samaritans buff
✅ Mountains of cake, a hot lunch, and a great atmosphere!

🙏 We’d be so grateful if you could share this post, forward the registration link, or spread the word among your club members, friends, and families.
Thanks for your support – we hope to see you on the start line!
